I got lucky with a Rank 1 lickitung a couple seasons ago and have been using the buddy system to grind xls since. We’re almost at 50!

ugh I have been farming XL candies on and off for two years...Still not even halfway there. I need a lickitung event or spotlight. I have almost best buddied 3 lickitung and still farming candies!

Yeah i am grinding XL candies for licki aswell. I hope it doesnt get nerved next season.
While I appreciate the craft behind the teams, I would not in a million years play something like that in GBL. You can miss-play a ton and still win because these pokemon are just THAT good.
Yeah, pretty much every non try hard player has to grind Licki and Carbink XL.
Licki has been in the wild throughout many events, previous season we had 1xl guaranteed per trade soo

@@bankaiKbNo it hasn't😂. In the last 2-3 years it has BARELY been in events. Only recently it spawned. Before that I had to walk a lot to get the XL
In my 2525s and didnt worked for me, Regi is just under performing, the amount of ground types and some fast move pressure mons just eats Regi outs, but glad to play couple sets with this team and I hope for next meta teams like this! tysm
Lickitung is so busted in the great league
Ive had rhe xls for licki for awhile finally built it this season but it has been very meh to honestly. Its a damage sponge but like its just meh. And ive got a top 10 rank one its just meh haha. But to each their own i suppose
To be fair i didnt use it on the lead. So maybe i should try it there

Man it’s crazy hearing people say it’s tough to build a Lickitung. For me it’s like the only catch reward I ever get for my battles. I have TOO many licki candies

I built a shiny Licky because I thought the IVs were decent but then I got a rank 31 now I regret it
How much does the rank/iv matter for pvp???
Low level, it matters some, but not a ton. The higher up you get, 1600+, you will start to see and feel the difference. 2000+, you will see yourself getting dominated by mirror matchups where your opponent has superior IVs. If you are following the meta, you are likely to be running a lot of the same teams of your opponents and you will unfortunately have lost before the matchup ever started.
So why i never get to battle against this team when i use my Obstruct Obstagoon instead i get a lot of Shadow Granbulls 😭
I got a 99.3 timburr and a 99.1 shiny timburr .. is the .2 a big enough difference?

Often munchlax is the best equivalent or snorlax can do similarly not as bulky though
