People can sway etc when nervous and it looks like a different kinda jumpy. Being on camera and wanting to do a good PR job when you'd rather be fabricating parts can get sweaty :)
Lol Morgan is awesome, been following him for a while. I don’t think Morgan caught your dry-humor/sarcasm remark about it only being “ just a 1,000 horsepower” for spec builds, as if that isn’t some crazy amount of horsepower in any car. Great interview with great questions!
There aren't many people who wouldn't be keen on a 2000hp V10 sand toy if they had the money. I'm sure there are things in your house and garage someone with even less money would envy too 😎 Even then, cool to see someone who knows their craft have the opportunity to flex it like this vs stamping out the same things every week - Taz.
@@hpa101 100% if i had the cash i would have things like this built. It is the drive to have something just a little better that got humans where we are. the beauty of this build shows it. I said dubai because it is a place where this style of vehicle is usable and also has people who can afford it. Monaco has supercars......
Hard to price things like this until after the fact, but for 4,000 hours estimated total plus all the parts and materials (those a 2000hp UGR engine ain't cheap!), it's certainly not outrageous - Taz.
You can draw whatever sand lines you like, we all do. They will just look different to the guy on the next dune over drawing his own lines and you're no more right or wrong than they are in your own minds haha Hope you enjoy whatever project you are working on that is within your own lines and interests 🤘- Taz.
Great response and I appreciate your perspective. Thanks Taz. You’re right, my projects are nothing to this degree. “The Man in The Arena” comes to mind here, thanks for kindly reminding me of that. ✌️
So over seeing this car in it's unfinished state. It's an incredible build, but as it sits its just another SEMA lot queen that isn't completed and doesn't run.
@@Urban.Broccoli Didn't say it was, but also doesn't change the fact it is just lot every other SEMA build: unfinished, doesn't start, and lots of speculation
There isnt really much to speculate about on this though. You can see the level of work done so far is on point and the drivetrain is all proven. Miles off something cobbled together for a one time showing. You of course don't have to like it, but if you think this guy isn't legit check out his Tuned In podcast episode for his background 😎 - Taz. www.hpacademy.com/blog/127-doing-it-different-monster-twin-turbo-v10-range-rover-prerunner-podcast/
It's neat, I guess. Seems pretentious, unnecessarily complicated and ridiculously exquisite (expensive) just for the sake of it. What do you do with this trailer queen? One flip off-road, if it ever goes off-road, and it's a disaster. The trophy truck/pre-runner types are meant to be driven - hard. edit: my thumb up is for you/your channel, not the rolling contradiction.
He literally started the video calling this a toy. Get over it. Are you aware of how much "standard" trophy trucks cost? It's not like they're a vehicle the "common man" can easily afford lol
@@chickenfishhybrid44 Great, now I have to endure backlash from someone that uses "literally and lol", along with random useless quotation marks, while attempting to seem clever? I can not possibly take you serious. It's easy to see where our opinions differ in value.
@TheCarpenterUnion "Comment to chicken"? Is that supposed to be English? Shame, you were trying so hard, too. Maybe between your idiotic fits of laughter, you could manage to type out something that isn't nonsense.
You'd be pretty weird to pay someone to spend 4,000 hours modifying a car and want them to give it back completely stock. PS: You can call it Susan if you want to - Taz.

This dude knows his shit. Love his design philosophy and pragmatic approach to fabricating this fantastic beast.
A breath of fresh air, the work looks 10/10
Got to see it in person. Hope they put it through its paces
Yeah fingers crossed! I'm sure it will get some decent shakedowns before leaving the nest 😎- Taz.
Cool machine 😎
Why does the interviewee look like he’s about to throw hands any second? 😂
i thought exactly the same , maybe he don't like interview .....😄😄😄😄😄

Someone in Dubai needs to have a cooler truck than another guy.

I saw this on someone else’s channel and also thought it was pretty “SEMA”. Can it be done? Sure. Should it be done? Idk why you need to.
No one NEEDS performance or race cars in general to be fair whether they cost $1 or $1,000,000. Wanting on the other hand 😎 - Taz.
That’s fair Taz. I guess we don’t need to draw a line in the sand on what’s just unnecessarily rebuilt vs purposefully rebuilt.

This wasn't built for SEMA
