This was lovely. Thank you. Renoir painted with transparent color and soft brushes which is quite a difference from Monet.

Please, please, please Eva do 'more' tutorials currently trying to get some idea of the brush technique that Cezanne used for one of his Jug, plate and fruit oil painting, I know this is a WC but out of about 30 'no idea' and child like attempts by so called artists on here, came across your WC tutorial and in doing so found this excellent tutorial. Real time painting so we can see and not the speeded up ones idiots put on here. I am an ex draughtsman and can do Line and Wash quite well and I mainly copy, but what you are doing here is just the sort of thing I am trying to move, so please do more. Thank you.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND WORDS. I hope you will take a look at my most recent post about our Art Retreat in Provence and look at the website to get information. I want to say that I understand what you mean by Cezanne's brush strokes. I think it will be helpful to know about "sculpting" with the brush...In other words, lay the paint in either vertical or horizontal stokes on each PLANE of the form. Top, and sides, ect. Does this make sense? Hope to hear from you. My email is evamargartist@gmail.com
