He is a very private person. He’s so open on stage, but off stage he hides.
I saw a video of a meet greet and he is standing off to the far side away from even the rest of the band and his body is physically tuned away from the guests asking questions, he hardly looked in their direction. I can’t even remember if he even answered any questions.

This is true, but not quite. Yes, it directly translates as "yes", but the meaning is different. Not "yes, I agree", but "yes, I heard the information", while the person disagrees with this information or statement, he simply confirms that he heard everything or did it.
@@Sellevellor correct me if I'm wrong, but it comes across as very versatile parallel to the American "Yeah" which can be used as anything from agreement to yes, to 'i'm still listening' to 'go on' depending a bit on the inflection.
