It's so beautiful how a lot of the music and themes crossed over into the final Evangelion film (3.0+1.0). Captain Nemo and Captain Misato! From being depressed by the anime he made, he actually came to terms with it. Anno, we salute you!
Just finished the series now. I have to say while their were bad episodes within the island and Africa arc, the final five episodes made up the blonder that it was. As for the rest of the show, it was done masterfully. I would see myself rewatching this series again(without episodes 23-29 and 32-34). Edit: also, this song sounds a lot like the theme to Gone with the wind.
Hi there, Did you know there´s an Opera version made by Shiro SAGISU, he has showed it on his twitter but I´m not sure if it was released with the Blue Ray set. Do you know anything? I was expectin it in the Shin Evangelion OST but nope, no luck.
