- The twin lakes of #Negros Oriental, The lake #Balinsasayao Lake and the Danao lake are both Crater Fresh water lakes. They where ancient volcanoes who also now has small streams flowing towards them. These lakes, through some underground streams or through the process of water absorption to ground water or aquifers and later to springs, indirectly supply water to huge part of the island.
seeing different kinds of birds and hearing their sounds is another level of experience. If you want to connect with nature, this is the perfect place for you.
Yes. And i think there are trails for bird watching here. Some bird photography groups come here sometimes.

Yes, it's just around 500 meters, you just have to be careful with the slippery rocks, especially during rainy days. :)
I need to go there again. I was there about a year ago, and it rained so hard you couldn't see the lake from the restaurant. It's beautiful. Oh, and your new camera works well.

Are there fish in those lakes
Yes. Carps, tilapyas and some other small ones. Local say they sometimes carch upto 5 kilos. But not so often.
