How to Fix a Pooling Sidewalk | DIY Flooded Sidewalk Fix

This is a quick video covering a recent install we had for a client in Wesley Chapel, Fl.
Our client had water pooling on their sidewalk that would sit, stagnant for days. The biggest reason the water was pooling was because the sod was built up on a thick bed of clay, which was to compact for the water to percolate through.
We installed an extremely DIY friendly drainage system that consisted of just two catch basins, a few feet of drainage pipe and an emitter, which acted as a relief point for the sitting water to exit through.
This is an extremely common issue in our area of Florida, as almost all of the new homes here are built upon this clay. Hopefully if you are in a similar situation, this video will help you take care of it!
