Hungry Galapagos shark chased us out the water! - EP.5 | MAUI HAWAII

Brah that faka wacked my kui on my float ripping my gun out my hand. He was hungry. We ended up ditching all the tako like 30lbs that was supposed to be for a party. We was far out and had to fight the current back in while this faka circled us the whole time. Crazy experience. But we all made it out in one piece. 🦈🐙

That happened to me and my buddy north shore Oahu. But we encountered a 14 foot tiger. I thought I was going to lose my life. Now I'm scared to go to far out. Their are big predator out there, dive safe and glad you guy made it out safe!

Just had that happen to me and my boys in a recent dive. Luckily we didn't have bad visibility and after a poke our shark left us alone. Do you think he would have been less aggressive if he hadn't got the first tako?

For sure. Once he got a taste of it he wanted to get the rest. Usually they’ll come check you out but if you watch em a little while and he doesn’t take anything they’ll leave, like you said. He just got a bite from ours unfortunately😂
