Did you really need to hear him? If you already have a factory insole to trace out what is the issue? This has to be the most ridiculous video I have ever seen. What's his next video going to be, "how to put new shoelaces on"? The only reason you would have trouble sizing an insole is because you bought an expensive pair of boots that don't come with an insole to trace. Anyway, I found the solution from another video. He used a bunch of aluminum foil and rammed it into the shoe so that you had a nice mold of the midsole (what the insole sits on). It was an ingenious idea.
There is no need to trim the heel portion of Tread Labs insoles. Line up the back of the heel and the inside edge of your new insoles over your current insoles. Trace around the toes and trim as necessary. Be conservative, you can always cut more, but you can't add back!
OMG! Are you actually serious? Is this video a joke? Who won the right mind wouldn't know how to size an insole if you already had one perfectly sized by the factory? 🙄 Unbelievable! You do realize some shoes and boots come without insoles? Seriously unbelievable.
I agree, the yellow/green stock Nike insole is not my first choice of color, however it's contrasts super well against the red and makes the process easy to follow.
I feel like a dummy for asking this question, but I'm glad there was a video for it lol
What an excellent monotone instruction video!
Thanks so much for making and posting this video.
Thank you😊
“Now comes the fun part” oh yeah!
Also, I threw away the factory insoles before I trimmed 🤦🏼♂️
Hey! Thanks dude! U rock 🤘
It is better to draw the tracing on the bottom of the orthotic not the top. That way, it does not show off you leave some ink on it.
You can clean it with alcohol
What kind of Nikes are those ? I like them!
What if my labradoodle chewed both of my insoles and I don’t have them to start?
An old pair on Epic Flynit I believe. Long gone, I'm sure!
My shoes don't have a factory insole. 0_o I need another method
guess
Still waiting on the other method...
Couldn't hear him over the insanely loud music

does this work for vktry insoles
thanks bro
you never trimmed the heel portion of the insole? does it matter

great thanks for the quick reply :D
Excellent instruction
Genius!
I wouldn't be putting insoles in my shoes if my shoes already had one, that too in brand new condition. 😑🙄😂
You are missing the point .. these are orthodicts , they are teaching you how to trim the liner that goes on top the orthodoxy arch support… genius 😒

Those insoles look terrible

not talking about colour just the insole don't look like they give much support
What if the insoles are black?..
