We need more of this. Absolutely love the appreciation and respect between these separate sports. We need Hask going all over the world doing more of this!
Fantastic interview with fantastic athletes from my two favourite sport. Love the banter, the real life chat about sport and family interaction. Great chemistry between all three of them. Chapeau.
Good stuff. Thomas & Rowe. Legends of Welsh cycling & top blokes too. It was only as recent as 2015 that 2 Welsh riders started the Tour de France for the first time.
This has just explained, clearly, everything I didn’t understand about the Tour de France and elite cycling races generally, more than in many hours watching the Bradley Wiggins Lance Armstrong podcasts ( good as they are). I have LOVED the Tour for years, but the inner workings of why some riders do what they do or don’t has been a total fog for me. Thanks so much for this brilliant chat.
Great episode, and 2 of the best there is in the Cycling business, if any one wants to watch a n incredible sporting spectacle, it's Le tour, just for the scenery alone tbh, almost breathtakingly beautiful at times. Great interview.
Luke: you should come race the Cape Town Cycle Tour. The route is well suited to your style... and I am sure that if you brought a few mates for some early season training you would be at the front of the bunch... (There will be some rugby to watch as well...)
Great, down to earth, no filters video. Absolutely banging interview. p.s. Such a shame that Luke won't be riding one last race. Can you imagine, Luke and Geraint riding the Tour of Britain together, on a Welsh stage, this year. All of Wales would be going nuts.
Very interesting. I used to pace a fine Army athlete in the 3000m Steeplechase. We were same regiment. Tough event which starts at a fast pace. He could break reg and div records whilst drunk!! He wanted me to try and beat him but my essential role was to start at a realistic pace and maintain it. I like cycling. I ride mtb. But I don’t understand the big road events. On the challenge, where are they going to find a frame for Richard? Clydesdale in mtb.
James thanks for this great interview. Cam accross this as its TDF related but I will subscribe and look at previous episodes as I am a rugby fan as well. keep it up
I saw Luke with Tom Pidcock sign in at TDF 2022 Briancon. It was like a bring your kid to work day such was the height difference. 😂 Then Pidcock smashes the downhill and wins the stage .
Thomas no hope of winning, getting on podium be a huge ask but unless something really untoward happens Pogacar going to cruise it this year. Jonas I doubt be ready but I hope so.
Geriart Thomas: seriously his last few podcasts: I don’t like the Spanish, I don’t like Spain or the Vuelta, I can’t stand Niro Quintana , I don’t like chatting to Italians, I don’t like the new young riders, fxxx Pogi, Tom Pitcock doesn’t shower properly. You know what EVEN his bestie says “he’s nasty” . Adding up for me…….he likes the British, that’s it 🤔
Lovely guests and hask on point. But suggestion. When guests (particularly from other sports but really anyone incl) are invited maybe they could be encouraged to watch some gbr pods beforehand so when they come on they dont feel awkward with the format/banter. This one felt clunky at times. No ones fault though, could be guest nerves. Best wishes, my fave pod. Sorry payno for this below the line comment (!)
It would have been better if the interviewer did some prep on the topic..ie cycling before he started this interview. 🙄 I'm not convinced he has ever watched the TdF let alone being a dedicated fan, otherwise he wouldn't have been surprised at some of their answers.
Which is why , for me, it made it such a genuine chat. James was genuinely curious about the sport and asking good, relevant questions. Excellent podcast in my opinion.

Fantastic interview, combining two of the greatest sports and individuals hero’s from both, chapeau GBR
This an unexpected collision between two of my sporting passions. Chapeu.
G has one job.
Leading Cav out.
As a cycling fan, that was fantastic. There's something about two different sports coming together that just works.
Watching Hask get ideas when Luke was describing how to body check on a bike had me rolling haha
Nicole Cooke was a phenomenal Welsh cyclist too!
Brilliant interview up the Welsh 2 phenomenal legends G and Luke.
Absolutely brilliant interview. Fantastic interviewees.
This was perfect. Fabulous mashup. You’ll love NZ and the kiwis will love you boys.
Loved that. Gotta see Hask on the track
Love both sports. So good to see them unite like this.
Brilliant interview with two world class athletes
Brilliant podcast! Well done Hasks!

Great interview and insight into the world of road racing
Clearly such good lads. Bet they had a great time together afterwards
Brilliant interview listening to 3 absolute legends we need more of these kind of programmes 😊😊🚴🍻
My 2 favourite sports coming together - great interview
Both men are at the top of their sports. Thomas is a phenomenal talent and a palmares to match. What a career. Rowe has a great career too.
Awesome Guys, Loved it. Go G Go!
Top drawer sports chat/bants!
Well done Hask!
Just love G and Luke💜💜🏴🏴
So true by Luke Rowe: “we are just a bit sick in the head”. I was saying to a mate the other day that the life of a pro is just suffering 😮
Great episode, and 2 of the best there is in the Cycling business, if any one wants to watch a n incredible sporting spectacle, it's Le tour, just for the scenery alone tbh, almost breathtakingly beautiful at times. Great interview.
Yep. Final sentiment. Some things are totally impossible. Good chat. Thanks.

From BE, that was a fun interview 🙂

Brilliant pod, thank you Gents!!
Hask - you funny, funny man 😂
21:52 the 3m gap to the group when you already suffering is among the largest distances in the universe.
Cool episode
Really great chat boys👍
Great watch
Cool chat. Cool guys. Keep it up.
Wouldn't mind seeing a collab between GBR and GCN!
Class episode
Great ..my 2 favs..More please.....fm Capetown.
G what are you on about- telling Hask he has to go play 15 is his damn DREAM!!!!
I saw Luke with Tom Pidcock sign in at TDF 2022 Briancon.

A summer of podcasts ahead for G😂
Thomas no hope of winning, getting on podium be a huge ask but unless something really untoward happens Pogacar going to cruise it this year. Jonas I doubt be ready but I hope so.
did Car win that day when he missed the start of the Giro?
Love This
First time to see G interviewed with neatly shaved face, nice hair, sitting almost tight🤣
Loved it.
Great fun, we'll miss G when he finishes a true Champion.
Brilliant love it.
I Think G will become INEOS Team Manager, He knows what it takes Win, you Couldn't Ask for a better man to be in charge than a tour de France winner.
Do they talk about pogacar?
yeah at 39:00 minutes
Where’s flanker? Classic Luke😀
Hask, please get that lid sorted😂
I thought that was Alex Payne
G and Luke are absolutely tiny compared to Haskell. Mental!
G. Pwoar ❤❤❤❤❤
Hot hot hot. G gets more good looking the older he gets.

Do you think? That just seemed normal G & Rowe as they are on their own podcast! (Watts occurring)
Hask was fine but it was pretty obvious he doesn't watch much cycling. Still a decent little chat though.
It would have been better if the interviewer did some prep on the topic..ie cycling before he started this interview. 🙄 I'm not convinced he has ever watched the TdF let alone being a dedicated fan, otherwise he wouldn't have been surprised at some of their answers.

Thomas the biggest RAT GO NAIRO BIG MOUTH THOMAS
Loving the bit about the undercarriages! Never knew this about men 🫣😂
