This tournament is proof that jumping reach, heading, teamwork, and work rate are OP based on how many center halfs won matches they wouldn’t on paper
Perhaps. From my experience heading isn't really needed to score heading goals though, high jumping reach gets the job done for some weird reason. I know personally in real life that's not the case ;)
I'd imagine having a backline of elite defenders and every player being tall goes a long way too

I think it was more the impact on their gk and set pieces. They seemed to make much better GKs. Plus all those centre-backs that did well are decent on the ball and not slow, Rudiger and Van Dijk are both pretty quick as well as the jumping reach and strength.

I don’t think he was wrong. You have different type of midfielders and 10 midfielders have a better chance to win then 10 defenders and 10 forwards. You need a mix of Modric, Kante, Debruyne, etc. to win, but I think it can be done.

While the timing is certainly suspect, this could have been a complete coincidence. You don't know how long this video has been in the works or even planned out before that.

I think this is my favourite FM experiment, and tbh, I think it actually does a very good job of highlighting the importance of certain abilities in the game, especially after "speed gate", ie, just be fast and strong

Also, in my personal experience when I played semi-professionaly whenever defensive part of the team played against offensive players DEFENDERS WON by large margin.
This didn't make any sense. How do a team of only messi's win anything here, he doesn't defend and is too small to be in goal. Ramos' goals were also too good. Henderson also making it to RO8 not making sense either. KDB losing on penalties to Ruben Dias (i think i am making Ruben Dias my first penalty taker, considering he is better than KDB and Gundogan). I'd also expect Mbappé to win from Haaland. How does VVD even get 4 crosses out that reach a teammate. The realism in this game isn't as good as we thought.
You keep saying Bruno Fernandez in all you videos bue he has no Z in his name, Bruno FernandeS, it is pronouce differently.

I love the concept, but it is so frustrating that it is just a game. It relies too much on numbers and doesn't take into consideration the style and mentality of each player. How they react under pressure and team work.
