@@YTJoshuaMcDonald I have been waiting for months for this vehicle to arrive. I just drove one Friday... I walked out of the dealership. 1. The auto close doors are disabled in the US (They say a fix is coming). 2. There a a lot of things I love about the car, but the build quality is not there. In my opinion, this is not a $160K vehicle.
Overall I like this vehicle, but prefer the slightly smaller 3 row Vistiq. One thing that would concern me is the extensive use of gloss black plastic trim on the exterior; rock chips, scratches etc will not be kind to those trim pieces. It seems like a worthy Range Rover competitor, and Cadillac made an EV version before JLR.
1:15 into video and I see Cadillac is already being cheap with one light in the front trunk. That tells me the rest of the vehicle is the typically GM bean counter special.
170k out the door. No bumpers to protect from damage. Front clip replacement if car fenders or front is damaged. Car is totaled if battery fails. Will be in junkyard in 5 years. Range decrease in time and weather. Car is beautiful. Will be an excellent interior swap when car is totaled.
Also mention deleting A/C outlets on b pillars for cost cutting for an already outrageous price. It’s the only vehicle in its class not having two sources of ventilation at the same time for each occupants for the second row excluding the gas version.
129K for base model, the 170K is for Top trim with every option checked. Also No Vehicle is not totaled if battery fails, in fact most EV batteries last longer than the vehicles themselves. If for any reason there is a battery issue they are covered by a pretty generous 8 year warranty. As for no bumpers? When have modern vehicles have protruding bumpers? The whole front of the vehicle is a crumple zone. Range in this vehicle is 460 Miles, and depending on how you drive it and conditions you could see over 500 miles. All vehicles even ICE will have range impacted by weather.
For the price it's not impressive. It shouldn't have door handles it should be just like the Lyric. It should have at least 1,000 horsepower and 1,000 torque. Running board should be automatic. . And if you take it on the road trip it would be significantly more than gas.
You’re the first one to show off the Google maps in the driver display section. Thank you
My pleasure

I'm not even a car expert, but you made this so easy to understand. Amazing!
Thank you!
"Down below we have a storage tunnel. You can put a little special thing down there." 😁 Perfect.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video! 😂

I agree, the gloss black trim is a bit of a concern. It is a very nice vehicle!
I saw one of these models at my local dealer. The rear storage room is less than my 2018 Escalade.
I like the design of this escalade vs the 2025 boxy design. Im not a fan of electric vehicles. It would be nice if this design was a gas vehcile
It is a very different look than the previous generation! I will be doing a review on the gas one soon so stay tuned.
What a very nice station wagon.
I see what you did there 😉
It's yours?
Is it CCS or NACS?
It is ccs.

I built this vehicle
Okay Jordanwilcoxson2235.
That’s awesome!
@@YTJoshuaMcDonald yep
Wow
Thanks for watching!
The insurance premium on this thing 😢
2026 Cadillac IQ V with 3 motors 1000 hp starting at 180k fully loaded 200k😂
That’s expensive!
I can’t stand the taillights (they look upside down) or the front grill. It’s too busy with lines going this way and that way…
I’ll just get the Escalade V for that price😂
True 😂
Agreed! I saw one in person. The sunroof does not open.
all that and no drive???

Theres always a GM hater

Have u seen the price of the gas powered model? Its average transaction price is about 120k
180k with a sunroof that doesn’t open, I think NOT.🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Found like 30 things that are going to fail out the gate
You seem fun. Name them.
@ You call her mother.
It’s ugly! If I were to spend this much money on a vehicle I wouldn’t buy a Cadillac!
Absolutely Gorgeous!! Cadillac will sell a lot of these! just like the gas version which outsells everything in its Luxury segment.
750hp..psssh..gravity has 890hp at 85,0000$
Why does a $100k plus car have manual pulls to recline seats like a 1995 tercel? What??? Really???
