In order to calculate A3, two values of L4 of 62.5mm & 52.5mm are calculated and lesser of the two values(52.5mm) is to be used and same is said in explaining but in the example shown 62.5mm is used which is wrong.
Pl note that the value of L4 selected in Area A3 calculation (example) must be lesser value from 62.5 & 52.5mm whereas 62.5 is selected in calculating A3. It seems to be corrected.
I am piping Designer and I worked in JGC Japan. I enjoy watching your video as these are interesting and similar to my interest.
Your valuable information is helping me a lot. Thanks a ton
Madam, your video is very good
Good explanation.
I am so think that if A1 is more than (A2 +A3) then branch reinforcement is required otherwise not. Because A4 is adding to make A1
Very well explained, please make video on impact testing
Good explanation thanks for your efforts
Informative for non designers...
Thanks for good information
very helpful video, than you
i think a 3d view of the areas A1 A2 A3, A4 would be more clear . thanks
Dear mam, please make a video regarding Impact test requirements per ASME B31.3
Pump head and pump calculation expected next .thank you
Great

Exactly
Lesser value should be considered.. In this case 52.5 mm
Is it same for pressure vessel ?
i would like to know as well....

Total area of reinforcements is greater hence Rf pad is not required please clarify based on ur video u said while explaining only formula
Yes is reinforcement pad is required or not please clarify
Not required
Can you share calculations pdf ?
