Big Bang are everyone's idols idols (looking at you BTS). When people say they're "legends", we don't mean just that they're popular or just that they make great music, they literally changed KPop and did things no one else was doing musically. TOP was one of the first underground rappers turned idol, they were a group chosen for talent and not outright looks, they were putting out music written, produced, and directed by them, and they broke so many records and have inspired and influenced so many of today's groups.

Bang Bang Bang and Loser are my favorite Big Bang songs. Loser is about how each of them feels like a loser sometimes, for different reasons. I think they wrote their own solos.

one thing 2nd gen kpop groups had, that groups nowadays didn’t, was their charisma and how they can capture and really hype up the crowd whenever they perform without having flashy choreographies. check out their live performances, you’ll find yourself wishing you saw them live once in your life. bigbang was one of the groups who paved way for kpop’s international recognition. they’re just really different, that made me love them so much. bigbang we miss you 😔 forever legends!!
Fantastic Baby is one song that should never be shown to people who are new to kpop. It’s too out there. It’s made for their fans and it’s not a story per se as much as it is full of Easter eggs for people who know their story. It’s also an F* you to their haters. It’s definitely better live and you have to remember it’s from 2012.
Each member has their own stories in their own scenes. This song and video came after a long hiatus and several scandals which made people think they were actually going to disband. They were already named the Kings of Kpop by that time so this was their comeback and they were going to show people that they were still the most innovative and unique idol group.
G-Dragon had done solo work but had legal battles where he was accused of plagiarism and smoking weed. The plagiarism charges were cooked up by anti fans and were easily dismissed but of course never forgotten by haters. That why it looks like he’s in a war zone.
Taeyang was scandal free and did some solo work too. That’s why he’s in the white room with monk-like figures.
TOP did a bunch of acting and was really successful so people thought he wouldn’t come back. That’s why he is all dressed up and in the picture frames.
Daesung had been in a car accident in which someone had been killed and the media/public turned on him really badly. Even though he was cleared by the police and the victim’s family publicly defended him, people were vicious. That’s why you see him chained in the dark, with the burned cars, and falling but being caught by fans.
Seungri had a scandal in Japan where he slept with a woman and she took pictures of him sleeping in her bed. She then sold the pictures and the story to the media, saying he liked it rough in bed. That’s why there’s a bdsm vibe to his scene.
Most Bigbang MVs have more individual stories than an overall one. Each member usually has scenes that are more unique to them or a different perspective/interpretation on the song.

BIGBANG was literally one of the biggest Influence ever in Kpop. Honestly, Bigbang was a huge role model to the Kpop Idols nowadays. Thats actually a fact, alot, literally alot of Idols now was a huge fan of Bigbang that was a very successful group eversince 2006. If I hadn't been mistaken, RM from a really long time ago mentioned bigbang as their Role models. And alot of Idols also said that BIGBANG was their reason of entering kpop, plus!! Alot of Idols really look up to G-Dragon in terms of his Producing skills (Literally made all BIGBANG songs) and also very known as the Fashion King.
I respect big bang cuz them being legends was the precursor to groups now to be kings and queens

If you wanna watch a more story base i think “last farewell”, “loser”, “last dance (the mv was dedicated to their fandom, VIP, cause they were gonna enlist for two years and fun fact, at the end of last dance which is top part you can hear the fan cheering for him cause he was going to enlist ;-; ), “lets not fall in love” (which is a simple story but i would let yall figure it out..especially the cryptic message gdragon left ;) ) , “haru haru” (this song is a kpop classic, please u gotta react to it, its a fucking classic in korea) and lastly “Lies”. But If you wanna watch a more relax and fun vibe I recommend “We like 2 party”, “ZUTTER” ( its a gd&top sub unit, they have a subunit of their own and have make a mini album on it) although some may not appeal to you since some were like 2008 and kpop was so very very different from current edm musics but i do hope you guys would react to some of what i mentioned 🥰

This song was written in part by Teddy Park, who produces most of Blackpink songs. Teddy's specialty is mixing Korean and English. In the chorus, they are saying "Era moreugetda," which means F---- It in Korean, but sounds like "And I wanna get down" in English. Then the last line of the chorus is in English "Girl I wanna get down." It's translation pun.
Their live performance will blow you away.. And their lyrics has always deep meaning af. Their visual is an art so many doesn't get it.

I grew up listening to Bigbang. Thou their music isn't that relevant anymore, I still love listening to their albums. Fxxx it, btw, is a part of the MADE series that comprises of eclectic tracks that reflect the music style of Bigbang throughout the years.
IMO, "Fxxx It" is about learning to live in the moment. It could be about a relationship or it could be about their lives.
Bigbang earned a LOT of respect in the music industry but with all that fame comes criticism and scandals too. GD was particularly hounded by media and his crazy fans. Like Seotaiji, GD is a non-conformist and a symbolic figure in the Kpop industry, so everyone always wants to know what he was doing or who he was dating. He was like literally living under the microscope.
Seungri once said GD experienced a lot of failed relationships, that's why they have so many break up songs. But on this track, the lyrics talked about going after the girl he likes. Fxxk it or Era moreugetda also sounds like "I wanna get down" which can mean I'm going to enjoy my time with this girl and I don't care what other say anymore.
The video seems to contrast with the lyrics, but the meaning of Fxxk It kind of matches the mood they were trying to say. Well, it's kind of the muted version from their video for "We Like to Party." They're saying fame won't hinder them from enjoying life the way they want. The sign GD held means puberty, that could mean I'm going to go wild, go out, chill, be silly, walk around the street, and party. 😊😇
The funny part in the video is they were dancing in front of store signs with their names on it. They literally went around the district just to find those places.

Once it becomes an important part of ones youth, it will be cherished. That's why I still listen to them when I feel like it, but I prefer new beats and vocal style nowadays.

Bigbang live performances are all legendary
BigBang are absolute legends. I've never come across a group in my fairly long life that have just SO MANY damn great songs and their live performances are outta this world. The energy, hype and charisma they exude needs to be seen to be believed. Each individual performer is brilliant on their own but all together, they are on another level. Even BTS love them and there are plenty of videos to find that shows them singing to their songs or dancing at award shows when BB are performing.
BTS are fabulous and another wonderful group is VIXX. Their dancing is brilliant and they are known as "The Concept Kings" as their videos tell a story. Check out 'Hyde' or 'Chained Up' for starters.
BigBang are unique in many ways and likely never to be surpassed.
Bigbang are not the kind of people to take themselves too seriously. They are really funny in their own way, and some variety show hosts have said that they liked how Bigbang will not say no to anything they ask them to do, they just go for it. Bigbang on Weekly Idol is hilarious, and they had so much content they aired 2 1/2 episodes out of one recording session. Bigbang also has two episodes on Radio Star that are pretty funny...literally two hours of them roasting each other and spilling each other's secrets
I personally love their "Happy Together" episode where they just rip each other apart! I watch it on a regular basis.
