Tom definitely delivers one of his strongest vocal performances here. Another famous 60s singer had a huge hit with this was Shirley Bassey. You might want to hear her version as well. As for more Tom Jones' songs; "I Believe", "Green Green Grass of Home", "It's Not Unusual", "Delilah", "She's A Lady", "Treat Her Like a Lady", "Land of a Thousand Dances"! When Tom had his 70s variety TV show, he would host the music industry's hottest talent (from the 60s & 70s) and take on duets with them; Stevie Wonder, Janis Joplin, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Wilson Pickett, and so many more amazing entertainers.
Singing live.. before autotune.. He touches your heart & soul... And at 81 Sir Tom Jones can still sing with this same power and emotion Thank you for looking back & sharing this treasure with us
My heart is broken. What set of pipes Tom has. What a golden, Dimon powerful voice! Nobody comes close to him niether now nor ever. Tom will come down in History as the greatest singer for all time! Bravo!!!
YOU ARE A TREASURE!! Your empathy is ADORABLE and My GOD HIS VOICE IS EVERYTHING💝🙏🏻 Saw him recently and HE SOUNDS THE SAME!! That’s GOD GIVEN RIGHT THERE!!🙏🏻
Hi. Fantastic reaction as usual. When I listen to this song I picture the callous woman that Tom loves. He’s broken-hearted and tearful. She calls him pathetic and bluntly tells him that she does NOT want him. Then she walks away.
This was certainly among the Tom Jones classics, he done many powerful songs around that time. Another suggestion to react to is "I Have Dreamed" which was on the same album I Who Have Nothing & is very powerful & similar in emotion.
Hi, first time here...I am from Ireland and looking forward to watching your channel and commenting....good choice of song and singer to start the day of work......
When I mate my beautiful partner my❤cross rds of love inside of me came out I spent ever weekend with her she is my Queen and nothing she use to work for the Queen so best of both worlds ❤ we are equal
Awwww yours us the first reaction to Tom that actually made me cry. Other good songs of his are: Green Green Grass of Home Delilah It's Not Unusual She's A Lady I'll Never Fall in Love Again Sexbomb (from 1999)
This is from his TV show. My mother made us watch it. I was 9 listening to rock already She'd say now this is music. Have you done Delilah? It's a totally different perspective of him.
Tom is actually a very happily married man in these days. he married his high school sweetheart until she died of cancer. He never remarried. They had 2 boys also.
Tom and his wife Linda had one son together, Mark. The other son, Jonathan Berkery, is with a girl he met at a club. He denies the paternity even though the DNA showed the probability of him being the father is 99.9%. He said that Jonathan's mother tricked him into getting her pregnant. I read an article and saw a documentary featuring Jonathan being Homeless and saying he wants to meet Tom. As of today Info I don't know if he's changed his opinion because this information was a couple years ago.
@@msalykat6466 it is also said Tom can't stand confrontation and there have been articles saying the young man was angry and hateful toward him. Maybe Tom's wife did not want him having another family. He did accept paternity publicly in 2008 and paid child support through the years. Still it would be nice to see it all work out nicely
About Tom Jones, I don't want to suggest songs that other reactors are doing. But for rarer songs, how about "Young New Mexican Puppeteer" or "Daughter of Darkness".
Ok well....now I remember why I didn't get through this reaction before. You're almost there though~ a leeeetle less talk dear~ wish you luck though~ (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
Please don't stop the video so close to the climactic end...ugh.. It's like a mother bringing her boy cookies and milk while he is playing with himself.
Sir Tom Jones is still singing with a very strong voice at the age of 82 years. He is also a coach on the Voice UK. Sadly he lost his wife a few years ago.
I dont mind your commentary girl but please dont cut the singer off mid sentance...The end was building up so beautifully, then you cut him off ....Sheeeeesh!
I think your understanding of this song is not quite right. He’s saying that he has nothing to offer this woman that he does not know. In essence, he’s kind of like a stalker in that he watches her from a distance and even though he adores her, she’s with someone else and really does not know who he is. Enjoyed your reaction!
Ok, this is going to be so sick to read, and I’m not being serious. A different take on the song is that she never left him, doesn’t know him. Instead he’s an obsessed, psychopathic stalker. Watching her through windows? Following her around to see what they’re doing, dancing, getting presents, being intimate? Sounds like stalking to me. Is her name Delilah? Is he next going to sing about him stabbing her to death because she spent the night with someone else? (Remember, he waited until this other man left at dawn.) LOL Only a different, disturbed way of looking at this. Pure speculative fantasy. - BG

Tom's voice is incredible, then you add that magnificent orchestra and you get a magical performance! Beautiful!

My brother looks just like 'Jones the Voice' (we're from the same part of the world). Unfortunately his voice is ghastly....bless him. 😅
You could also react to "I Who Have Nothing" by Shirley Bassey. You will be amazed.

You are wonderful.
You too
The eternal voice of tom jones
You're one in a million!
He is amazing you should react to the original version with Shirley bassey
You are so cute. I love your reaction.
No apology necessary sweetie. 🙂
It's good, but....Shirley Bassey covered this before Tom Jones. You need to check it out. My preferred version.
There are so many guys out there who are special pure love to a lovely woman but they always go to the Bad Boys some reason
Try GIGI DE LANA's RENDITION of this song (I Who Have Nothing) from the Philippines..
Ok well....now I remember why I didn't get through this reaction before. You're almost there though~ a leeeetle less talk dear~ wish you luck though~ (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤
Thanks for the tips!
Great video! You should check out Buddy Holly the song Oh Boy. He died, when he was 22 from a plane crash it was a crazy story.
I got you.
