Who will save Muslims!!? How do you deny the crucifixtion account of Jesus by people who were witnesses during the event from a book that is older than the Quran?!!
This isn't an argument, you can't say because the Bible is oder than the Quran that it'd be "more" true. For example, I don't think that you believe the Earth to be flat (neither do I) but people believed in it for centuries, even though this flat earth idea was older than the spherical one.
@@kayoucat6352 the argument makes sense. The scriptures found in the bible were written far closer to the time of Jesus existence than the Scriptures of the quran, therefore far more reliable.

Jesus was not crucified according to Quran not according to the bible. Jesus predicted his crucifixion in the Bible, in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Quran copied the bible and twisted it. The bible never mentioned Allah or Muhammad but Muslims desperately seek their prophet in the bible even if they twisted it, give different meanings just to save Quran.
What Dr. Ally fails to mention is that the root meaning of "salaba" is to hang up: it does not, by default, refer to a method of killing (see Lane's lexicon). Someone can be hung up merely as a form of humiliation, or a form of torture, or to make an example of them after they die. The basic meaning of the verb is broader than that of a certain method of execution. This broader meaning fits well with 5:33: the other punishments mentioned all seem to be different from killing. I don't see why this is much more extraordinary, as a method of killing, that stoning someone to death, or burning them to death (being burned is the most painful experience a person can have), or burying them alive, thereby starving or suffocating them to death.

Putting some one on an electric chair does not mean electrocution. Electrocution is killing the person on an electric chair. Crucifixion means killing someone on the cross. Although the soldiers placed Isa (A) on the cross, they could not crucify (kill by crucifixion) him. They could not kill him by another means. Isa (a) status was raised much higher than the blames hurled upon him.

If Jesus didn’t die on the cross explain Roman Historian “Tacitus” account of Jesus death by cruxifixction in “Annals” 15:44. Tacitus wasn’t Christian nor Jewish and he lived in the beginning of second century.
Quran is a Mubeen (Clear) book 12:1 but when Sectarians SUPERIMPOSE on Quranic verses fabricated tales of their traditions, they mislead themselves. Quran is very clear about Jesus. Verse 4:157 never tells that Jesus was replaced (Tabdeela) on the Cross but word SHUBBIHA of 4:157 tells that Jesus did not die *ON THE CROSS* but on the Cross, he RESEMBLED=SHUBBIHA=RESEMBLED a body which has been crucified=A body which has been killed on the Cross, but he was not killed on the Cross=NOT CRUCIFIED. Now, from this scenario, it becomes clear that Jesus was INDEED on the Cross; otherwise he could not RESEMBLE=SHUBBIHA=RESEMBLE a dead body. So, Quran in 4:157 never denies nailing of Jesus on the Cross, but Quran denies his CRUCIFIXION *because according to all definitions of Crucifixion; death on the Cross is a binding Condition of the CRUCIFIXION. If person does not die on the Cross; then he is not crucified, and that what is given in Quran 4:157* *The fable of Substitution* on the Cross was in fact spread by Gnostic Basilides. When those gnostics entered in Islam in 7th Century, they spread that story of Substitution, and Ascension and Return of Jesus among Muslims. Then that story was blended in books of traditions. Quran is clear: 4:157 >> did not die ON THE CROSS 4:158 >> Spiritually Exalted 4:159, in this verse, word MOUTE-HI points to the death of every Kitaabi 43:61 >> No name of Jesus in this verse. Pronoun Inna-hu points toward Quran. 5:110 >> Jesus lived over 90 years >> Kahlan 3:55, 5:116-117 Jesus died naturally, and his Soul was raised to God. He will never return. He was buried in Grave 20:55 >> Dust will return to dust 20:55 3:144 >> All Rusul before Prophet Mohammad are passed away=died. So Jesus too. This is the clear Truth of Quran. But when this truth is told to Sunni and Shia; instead of accepting this truth of Quran, they will place upon you a label of a Qadiani. We all know that claim of Mirza G A Qadiani for Prophet-hood was absurd. We firmly believe in the last prophet-hood of Prophet Mohammad. Gospels of Luke and John also show that even after the incidence of Cross; Jesus was alive in the same human Body. Ancients copies of 4 Gospels from 4th century DO NOT CONTAIN any tale of Ascension and Return of Jesus. This tale was invented by Church much later. There is one tradition given in over 25 ancient books of Sunni sect which show: Prophet Mohammad said: Jesus lived for 120 years. Bayhaqi has graded that report "SAHIH". One Great Maliki Judge and Jurist *Ibn Rushd al-Jadd* has also recorded this tradition which show: Jesus died at 120
You Ahmedis might be on to something that should be debated and explored further. If Jesus lived till 120, then where was he for almost a century, who was with him? Why is there no documentary evidence of this long period?
This is insightful! Could you expand more on Jesus living up to 120 years? It’s generally agreed that the crucifixion event happened when Jesus was 33, so how and where did he spend the rest of his life?

The statement “Jesus was not killed or crucified” is found in the Quran (Surah 4:157), but this directly contradicts well-established historical evidence and the consensus among scholars, both secular and religious. Let’s break down why this claim fails and why it also undermines the credibility of the Quran. 1. Historical Consensus: Virtually all historians, including non-Christian scholars, agree that Jesus of Nazareth was crucified. Roman historians like Tacitus and Jewish historians like Josephus confirm this fact. The crucifixion is one of the most certain events in ancient history. It’s absurd to suggest that this event, which shaped the course of history, is false based solely on a claim made over 600 years later by a single source. 2. Eyewitness Testimony in the Bible: The New Testament, written by those who either directly witnessed or were closely associated with the events, unanimously affirms Jesus’ crucifixion. These writings, such as the Gospels and the letters of Paul, were circulating within the lifetime of eyewitnesses who could have easily debunked them if false. The Quran, written centuries later, contradicts these accounts without any supporting evidence. 3. Lack of Evidence for the Quranic Claim: The Quran claims that Jesus was neither crucified nor killed but was instead replaced by someone else. Yet, this assertion is unsupported by any historical evidence. The theory that someone else was crucified in Jesus’ place is a baseless claim with no contemporary witnesses or credible documentation. 4. Contradicting Core Christian Beliefs: The Quran’s denial of Jesus’ crucifixion directly opposes the foundation of Christianity-the death and resurrection of Jesus. Christianity spread rapidly in the first century precisely because of the belief in Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. Denying this event 600 years later undermines the Quran’s credibility on matters of history and theology. 5. Logical Inconsistency: The Quran affirms that Jesus was a prophet, yet dismisses the core message of his crucifixion and resurrection, which is central to his teachings as recorded by his closest followers. If the Quran were truly from an all-knowing God, it would not contradict such a well-documented historical event. In conclusion, the Quran’s denial of Jesus’ crucifixion is a clear error, and it raises serious doubts about its reliability as a source of truth. This error exposes the Quran as inconsistent with both historical facts and the foundational teachings of Jesus’ earliest followers.

According to Josephus there were at least four individuals named Yeshua who caught the publics' attention. Further there were at least four Messianic personalities Before the Prophet Isa (pbuh) who likewise caught the attention of the Judean public and authorities. Of the four "Yeshua"-s one was a criminal who was crucified. One was known as "the magician" and apparently came from Galilee. One was a rabble-rouser who made trouble at the temple off and on. The last was a sort of "doomsday" personality who was driven away. It is no huge mystery about why there has been so much confusion and dissention regarding this prophet given how many moving parts surround this story. Just sayin......
After decades of study and thinking about this and other things, I had no choice but to reject the entire thing. Top to bottom. The entire Abrahamic system and the books were largely tribal fabrications and fables made into holy writ. Many words were put in God's mouth. Consider the tribal origin of the authors and see if their penchant for antitruth matches what their descendants do every day in modern times.

@@BruceWSims The claim mixes facts with misconceptions and inaccuracies. Here’s a breakdown: 1. **Josephus and "Yeshua"**: The Jewish historian Flavius Josephus mentions a few individuals named "Jesus" (Yeshua), but the details are not as explicit as the claim suggests. Josephus refers to Jesus (Yeshua) of Nazareth in passing, but there’s no evidence he detailed four distinct individuals named Jesus in his writings. 2. **Four Messianic Figures**: There is historical evidence of various individuals with messianic claims or roles during the Second Temple period, but their numbers and identities are not exactly as outlined in the claim. Josephus mentions several, but not with the specific details provided. 3. **Crucified Criminal**: The claim that one Jesus was a crucified criminal matches the Gospel accounts of Jesus of Nazareth, but Josephus' reference to Jesus of Nazareth (if authentic) is brief and does not elaborate on his crucifixion. 4. **"Magician" from Galilee**: The "Jesus the magician" mentioned by Josephus (if the reference is to the same figure) is a disputed and debated part of the text. Some scholars question its authenticity or the interpretation of this reference. 5. **Rabble-Rouser and Doomsday Figure**: The descriptions of a rabble-rouser or a doomsday figure do not directly align with Josephus' accounts or with well-established historical records. In summary, the claim presents a mix of historical figures, but it inaccurately attributes details to Josephus and conflates various historical and biblical narratives.
This Bible verse written some 550 years before the advent of Islam, foretold Muhammad’s encounter with the angel re his first revelation: And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. -2 Corinthians 11:14

Yes, please put up with me! 2 I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. 3 But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 4 For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough. 5 I do not think I am in the least inferior to those “super-apostles.”[a] 6 I may indeed be untrained as a speaker, but I do have knowledge. We have made this perfectly clear to you in every way. 7 Was it a sin for me to lower myself in order to elevate you by preaching the gospel of God to you free of charge? 8 I robbed other churches by receiving support from them so as to serve you. 9 And when I was with you and needed something, I was not a burden to anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied what I needed. I have kept myself from being a burden to you in any way, and will continue to do so. 10 As surely as the truth of Christ is in me, nobody in the regions of Achaia will stop this boasting of mine. 11 Why? Because I do not love you? God knows I do! 12 And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal with us in the things they boast about. 13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.

I think this is a very plausible way of explaining the events surrounding the crucifixion - he was put on the cross but didn't die. Pontius Pilatus was very conflicted about having to give in to the Jews' demands for the killing of Jesus pbuh so it is entirely possible that he gave directives to the effect that should Jesus pbuh not actually die on the cross, he was not to be killed. There were examples of intercessions for individuals who didn't die after crucifixion. This is also consistent with Imperial Roman law too about surviving capital punishment in exceptional circumstances.

And Quran has made very clear through word SHUBBIHA of 4:157 that Jesus was 100% on the Cross, but he became unconscious and in that state of Coma; he RESEMBLED=SHUBBIHA a dead-body, but he was not dead and was later resuscitated by his followers. So he was NOT CRUCIFIED. He lived over 100 years and died naturally, and will never return
The true context of Quran - An Nissa 157 is very simple for me: Roman Jews are absolutely failed to stop Jesus' mission as Messiah. The historical truth about physical crucifixion is none of Quran's business. Because that's never be the point.
I like the naturalistic explanation. We know based on NT account, that at the point of Jesus’ crucifixion, there was a man also ordered to be crucified named Jesus Barabbas. His crime was he revolted and was supposedly a rebel leader. Perhaps - and this is only a theory - with a bit of goodwill from Pontus Pilate, Jesus Barrabas was crucified instead and was thought to be Jesus of Nazareth by the jews. Jesus then escapes and returns to his disciples startled to find out he is alive as they heard he was crucified. God knows best. 🤷🏻♂️
after investigation and interviewing jesus pilate found him not to be a threat, even declared his was not guilty of what they were accusing him of Luke 23 4 Then Pilate announced to the chief priests and the crowd, “I find no basis for a charge against this man. makes litt/e sense for him to suddenty change his mind simp/y becase noisy baying crowd pressured him,
That story is varying from one book to other book. Some books say: Jews Priests told Pilate that they have found no fault in Jesus, but Pilate in any way wanted to take his life because Roman were afraid this man may lead to any kind of Rebellion
1. Biblical Prophecies: The Old Testament prophesies that the Messiah would suffer and die. Isaiah 53 explicitly describes a “suffering servant” who is “pierced for our transgressions” and “crushed for our iniquities.” This clearly points to the Messiah’s sacrificial death. Psalm 22 also describes details of crucifixion centuries before it was even practiced, further aligning with Jesus’ crucifixion. 2. Jesus’ Own Predictions: Jesus, who is recognized as the Messiah in Christianity, repeatedly predicted His own crucifixion (e.g., Mark 8:31, Matthew 16:21). If He is indeed the Messiah, then His crucifixion was part of God’s redemptive plan, fulfilling both His own prophecies and those found in Scripture. 3. Theological Misunderstanding: The idea that the Messiah “cannot” be crucified misunderstands the purpose of the Messiah according to Christian doctrine. The Messiah’s role was not just to conquer but to redeem humanity from sin through His sacrificial death. By dying on the cross and rising again, Jesus accomplished the very mission of the Messiah as described in both Old and New Testaments. 4. Historical Evidence: The historical record overwhelmingly supports that Jesus of Nazareth, recognized as the Messiah by millions of Christians, was indeed crucified. This is confirmed by multiple sources beyond the Bible, including Roman and Jewish historians. Denying the crucifixion flies in the face of this evidence.
I can't see any statement like "Jesus was not crucified" in Sura 4 verse 157. It reads THEY did not crucify him. Read 155 to 157, see who they are. Pilates isn't one of them.
@@mehmettekoglu-dr7tf 1. What Surah 4:157 Actually States: The verse is clear in its denial of Jesus’ crucifixion: “They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but it was made to appear so to them.” The verse explicitly claims that Jesus was not crucified, directly contradicting both historical evidence and the biblical account. 2. Who “They” Refers To: The argument tries to sidestep the Quran’s claim by focusing on who “they” refers to. The context of the verse is the Jews who were allegedly boasting about killing Jesus. But this doesn’t change the fact that the verse flat-out denies Jesus’ crucifixion, regardless of whether it’s blaming the Jews, Romans, or anyone else. 3. The Real Issue: The point isn’t about Pilate’s involvement-it’s about the Quran’s rejection of a well-established historical event. The fact that the verse says “they did not crucify him” is enough to contradict history. Trying to distract from that by shifting the focus to who “they” are doesn’t change the verse’s meaning. 4. Historical Inaccuracy: The Quran’s claim goes against the overwhelming historical evidence, which includes both Roman and Jewish sources confirming Jesus’ crucifixion. The New Testament also affirms it in all four Gospels, making the Quran’s denial a baseless claim from a historical perspective.
@@YeshuaAkbar7 you're wrong. Their claim "we killed massiah (!) " is denied, not the crucifixion. The court was not sanhedrin and identified him as king of jews, not a false Messiah.
@@mehmettekoglu-dr7tf 1. Verse Context: Surah 4:157 explicitly states, “They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but it was made to appear so to them.” This directly denies both the killing and crucifixion of Jesus. The verse’s primary focus is to reject the crucifixion, regardless of who made the claim or how it was presented. 2. Sanhedrin and Roman Authority: The Quran doesn’t provide details about the Sanhedrin or the Roman court; it broadly addresses the narrative that Jesus was crucified. Historically, the crucifixion of Jesus was conducted under Roman authority (Pontius Pilate), not solely by the Sanhedrin. The Quran’s denial doesn’t change this historical fact. 3. Messiah and King of the Jews: The titles “Messiah” and “King of the Jews” are intertwined in Christian belief. The New Testament depicts Jesus as both the Messiah and the King of the Jews, and the inscription on the cross read “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews” (John 19:19). The Quran’s denial of crucifixion contradicts these accounts and the historical understanding that Jesus was crucified as a claim to these titles. 4. Historical Evidence: Independent historical sources confirm Jesus’ crucifixion, including Roman records and Jewish texts. The assertion that the Quran’s denial does not affect the crucifixion is incorrect; it is a direct contradiction of well-established historical events.
Thank you Dr. Shabir. I was taught about the replacement version but never believed it, I cannot believe that Allah SWT did trick to people and mislead our Christian friends. Why would He trick people only to later tell them that they changed the scripture? Many senior students scolded me for asking "why" toward Allah's decision. 😢 Only later I learned the interpretation that the verse may mean that the crucifixion was never happened and we have no historical record or revelation of what happened during and after the crucifixion. Again, thank you for your scholarly approach.
But the gospel was not written by eye witnesses since it mentioned that all deciples forsook him and fled. So even if were his deciples that supposed wrote the gospel then it's not eye witness account, for you to agree you have to also assumed maybe they were told by the eye witness. Again assumption doesn't lead to actuality since even the identity of gospel writers is to this day unknown.@@Ben-Jahoshua

Go look at Roman Historian Tacitus in Annals 15:44 of Jesus death. Tacitus was a pagan too. Do we disbelieve Tacitus who hated both Christians and Jews???
So basically he is saying rather than the very clear apparent meaning of the verse, we should it interpret it as God allowing his beloved prophet to be humiliated publicly in front it everyone, and once that was done and everyone witnessed his humiliation, he raised him up alive? What is the entire point in of allowing him to be crucified in the first place then? Defies all kinds of common sense. If we Muslims agree to this Christian narrative, then we have to believe in his death and resurrection, just like the christians do. Which is the entire narrative that the Quran rejects in the first place.

ASA. This perspective seems to give validity to the Ahmadiyya position, which claims that Jesus (as) was placed on the cross, but that he wasn’t killed; he appeared dead to observers, but he later left the region and eventually died a natural death. Do you have any thoughts about this?
He appeared dead to the soldiers, so the soldiers took him down without properly checking and placed him in the tomb. The tomb was found empty after, and the empty tomb could also support the mainstream Muslim view because Muslims believe Allah raised Jesus up to himself whilst Jesus was still alive.
It has been a fashion especially in South Asia that whenever Sectarians are told about the Truth of Quran; instead of accepting CLEAR truth of Quran, they will to say: that is Ahmadi or Qadiani Propaganda. Question is: If a Non-Muslim tells you that 4+5=9; should you reject his claim ONLY because he is non-Muslim? Before blaming Ahmadis or Qadianis (who follow a false Prophet) we must look into Quran, then history, and then even Biblical Literature. Quranic verse 4:157 through word SHUBBIHA confirms 100% that Jesus RESEMBLED=SHUBBIHA a dead body, of course on the Cross, because subject is Crucifixion. Word SHUBBIHA can be applied in this verse only and only to show that Jesus ON THE CROSS lost his conscious, and in that state, he appeared=Resembled as DEAD BODY which has been CRUCIFIED=Died on the Cross. But he was not dead. Later he was removed from the Cross, and Essene treated him with herbs, and on the 3rd day, he opened his eyes. This is the whole Truth.
The tale which say that Jesus was REPLACED=TABDEELA on the Cross was sprouted from Gnostic Christians which later was infused in hadith books. For any kind of Change/Replacement; Quran has frequently used word TABDEELA; not word SHUBBIHA. The meaning of the word SHUBBIHA is never to replace something by other thing, but it means: To RESEMBLE. Example: Face of your lovely daughter resembles your lovely wife. That never means: that face of your daughter is replaced by the face of your wife. When a person is deeeeeply unconscious, he RESEMBLES=SHUBBIHA a dead body. That what Noble Quran is telling in 4:157
Conclusion: Jesus (pbuh) was put on the cross but didn't died in the cross. What is still left for debate is at what point he ascended to heaven: probably it was in the cave and that's why the body wasn't found latter according to some texts. But Allah knows best.
He didn't die on the cross neither he died inside the tomb. When Mary came back , he discovered the stone entrance was displaced and the tomb empty..He found Jesus disguised as a gardener and when Jesus met his disciples he asked his disciples to touch him and he ate broiled fish and honeycomb. What message was Jesus trying to tell? Jesus was alive as human and not in resurrected state.. The Roman soldiers were wrong assuming he was already dead.
It wasn't Jesus who was crucified. It was Judas the Twin aka Judas Thomas who was Jesus' brother (Mark 6). He was known as the twin because he closely resembled his brother, Jesus according to the Gospel of Thomas and the Book of Thomas the Contender. According to Acts 1:13, Judas Thomas aka Thomas survived the 3 hour ordeal and rejoined the disciples 7 weeks later after his wounds had healed. The 3 hours were not enough time to cause the demise of the victim according to Mark 15:44 which has Pilate in disbelief that the victim had expired in such a short period of time. Thomas' survival became the basis for the 'doubting Thomas' story in the Gospel according to John chapter 20 where the incident was falsely ascribed to Jesus.
There is absolutely no repetition in the Ayah (verse 4:157). There is a great difference between crucifying someone and killing him.God made sure to communicate the proper story. Jesus was not killed on the cross, nor was he crucified from the first place, the verse is clear. If God only mentioned that he was to killed, people might be led to think that he might have been crucified but survived, yet this was not the case. He was spared the crucifixion process from the start.

the romans had absolutely no reason to have jesus on the cross, he didnt forbid taxes or c/aim to be the king of the Judeans, btw Allah promise jesus to take him [fully, body & spirit] raise him & purify him from those that disbelieve, they would not harm or injure him in the s/ightest, btw, the passion narratives in the 4 gospels were written anonymously, they didnt claim to be eyewitnesses, their testimony is entirely based on conjecture, therefore unreliable,
Roman were scared that Jesus could lead a rebellion against them. So they nailed him on the Cross in order to crucify him, but he survived=not Crucified 4:157. Jesus naturally died in Quran 3:144, 3:55, 5:117. Will never return

In the same way, they place in bracket the name of Jesus in verse 43:61. But in 43:61, pronoun INNA-HU points toward Quran, and INNA-HU is used in several other verses too for Quran
The Quran verse that denies the depth of Jesus (Surah 4:157) is the best verse to prove that the Quran could never have come from an omniscient God but from a human being, who didn't know the historicity of the death of Jesus.
he's suddenly gone when the Roman soldiers barges in, maybe in a hectic confusion those Romans just grab any jews.. they all look the same.. have beards, hook nose etc.. maybe they got Judas.. or maybe it was someone else.. who knows
The Quran verse that denies the death of Jesus quotes the Jews as saying "We crucified the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary..." This is unfortunate. This statement in the Quran is not true. The Jews who killed Jesus never accepted Jesus as the Messiah. They could never have recognized as Messiah and still kill him. So, that verse of the Quran is false. If the verse is a false and illogical claim, it means that verse did not come from any God almighty.
The God of Islam is Allah (Al-lah) which comes from the root word Elah (El-lah). Al/El means, "The." It's a title before a word or name. Elah (El-lah) comes from the root word Lah which means no or not in Arabic. Therefore, Allah is the God of no or not. Same with Elohim (El-lohim). The root word of Elohim is Eloh, (El-loh). The root word of Eloh is Loh which means no or not in Hebrew. Therefore, Elohim is the Hebrew God of no/not. Everything is forbidden except to be Abd-Allah or Abed as they say in Hebrew. Your purpose is to be an "abeed." I don't want to write the one English word for abd/abed/abeed because the AI will censor my whole post. The Abrahamic Faiths are about control. To think critically outside their box is deemed blasphemy. Your either an abeed, a sheep or both. If you translate Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim. It reads, Bis-mil-lah-i (In the name of the no/not) Rahmani (merciful) (most kind). "In the name of the NOT merciful, most kind."
Even former Christians, like myself, who are open to other holy books, I find the whole abracadabra hand-waving away of Jesus on the cross is so incredulous that it's one reason why I never went all the way and became a Muslim. I like a lot of what Islam has but, it falls short in demanding that I believe some things that require suspension of reason to accept.
My humble understanding as a Muslim is this: Jesus (pbuh) was put on a cross; he fainted; he looked like he was dead, plus there was a storm that everyone wanted to take cover from, and so the matter was not thoroughly investigated. He was put in a cave; on Sunday he arose, not resurrected but having come to, and then was able to show his disciples his wounds and eat with them, before fleeing and eventually being raised by God into the heavens to await his Second Coming.
@@minskdhaka No. You have mixed in Truth a trace of Falsehood. All what you posted is correct, but Jesus was never raised to God ALIVE with the body of Dust which HAVE TO return to Dust (Quran 20:55, Genesis 3:19). Jesus lived long and died naturally 3:144, 3:55, 5:117, and he will never return. Even when we read Ancient Copies of 4 Gospels from Codex Sinaiticus of 4th Century, we do not see in those copies any tale of Ascension and Return of Jesus. This tale was invented much later. Quran has used word RAFA in 4:158 for Spiritual Exaltation; not to raise the body of Dust of Jesus to God. God is not in need of our dummies of Dust. After death, only Soul is raised to God
@@minskdhaka According to the Gospels of Luke and John, Jesus was alive in human body even after the incident of the Cross. That means: though he was placed on the Cross, but he was NOT CRUCIFIED=NOT DIED ON THE CROSS, and same is the stand of Quran in 4:157
For me, the most convincing theory is the JEWISH CONSPIRACY theory which holds that some Pharisees, not God, substituted Jesus for another person: • the Jews arrested Jesus, and • during the sanhedrin trial, God miraculously causes the death of Jesus (yes! Jesus died - read 'tawaffā' in 3:55 and 5:117) • since these few Jewish Pharisees feared that people might accuse them of murdering Jesus, they buried Jesus away secretly; got hold of some similar looking guy (Judas?) and flogged him and hastened the fastest court proceedings in history, obviously in order to avoid detection. • this also explains why Simon the Cyrene was made to carry the cross when the cross-bearer came out • There were only few female witnesses who witnessed from far away at least acc. to the synoptics. (It also explains why Mary (one of the witnesses) would leave early Sunday morning to check out the tomb, probably to see who it was actually.) • After the person died, a Jewish person (from arimatheus) took the body and buried it in a tomb known to people. • During sabbath, the pharisees got the body stolen and buried it in an unknown location to avoid detection • they then blamed the Christians as having stolen the body. They also claimed to have killed Jesus, which is to say, that Jesus was not the Messiah as the Messiah whom they expect cannot be killed let alone humiliated through crucifixion. • And since christians knew that they didnt steal the body, they assumed that Jesus rose from the death • the claimed appearances are probably legends/hallucinations as Christians were expecting to see the missing Jesus. • the ascension of Jesus into heaven has a very weak basis in the Gospels themselves: Matthew (no witnesses), John (no witnesses), Mark (fabricated ascension story). Luke has the words "he withdrew and ascended", but NRSVue has a footnote saying the the word "ascended" does not appear in some ancient manuscripts. • The Messiah being raised to heaven and descending from it is a fabricated eschatology, which has no basis in the Old Testament Prophesies. It neither has any basis in the Quran, which clearly mentions Jesus to have died, possibly miraculously, just like his miraculous birth. __________ In the other theory, the SUBSTITUTION THEORY, the problem is that 4:157 "...but was made to appear to them" is interpreted as if God made this deception, but the verse nowhere says that God is the doer of this action. In fact, considering that the verse continues with accusations against the Christians for believing in conjecture, it is unfair to say that God caused this deception and procedes to condemn people who got deceived. Who can escape deception if God himself caused it? ___________ The Swoon theory, presented in this video, goes against the verse 5:110 "... I restrained the Children of Israel from you when you came to them with clear proofs". This is one of the great favours that God bestowed on Jesus, and this whole verse talks about many other favours to him. If Jesus, as claimed in this video, was eventually flogged and crucified, this is not "restraining" and cannot be mentioned among the great favours from God.

If person does not die on the Cross; then he is not crucified, and that what is given in Quran 4:157*
*The fable of Substitution* on the Cross was in fact spread by Gnostic Basilides. When those gnostics entered in Islam in 7th Century, they spread that story of Substitution, and Ascension and Return of Jesus among Muslims. Then that story was blended in books of traditions.
Quran is clear:
4:157 >> did not die ON THE CROSS
4:158 >> Spiritually Exalted
4:159, in this verse, word MOUTE-HI points to the death of every Kitaabi
43:61 >> No name of Jesus in this verse. Pronoun Inna-hu points toward Quran.
5:110 >> Jesus lived over 90 years >> Kahlan
3:55, 5:116-117 Jesus died naturally, and his Soul was raised to God. He will never return. He was buried in Grave 20:55 >> Dust will return to dust 20:55
3:144 >> All Rusul before Prophet Mohammad are passed away=died.

@jannahreminders4310 You are saying God is too complex, yet you are actually limiting God in this statement as though to say it’s not possible for Him. Also, do you have any verses that help substantiate your viewpoint?

Correct, and that is given in Matthew 15:24
So now Josephus is your authentic source and you take everything he says or it the case of selective justice to match up ur mad up stories ?
After decades of study and thinking about this and other things, I had no choice but to reject the entire thing. Top to bottom. The entire Abrahamic system and the books were largely tribal fabrications and fables made into holy writ. Many words were put in God's mouth. Consider the tribal origin of the authors and see if their penchant for antitruth matches what their descendants do every day in modern times.
@BlackPill-pu4vi I can sorta see how you arrived at that position. Islam has demonstrated a monotheistic path absent most of the nationalistic tendencies as has been seen in the Judaic Community and later with Christianity. That doesn't mean that after the Prophet of God died that the three Rashidun Caliphs didn't do with Islam what the 1st Millenia Nation-builders did with Christianity or the post-Captivity Jews did with Their faith. In my old age I have become Spiritually Selfish and ardently protect the relationships I seek to foster with God. I listen to thoughts and opinions but conclusions and beliefs are between me and the Almighty. FWIW.
@theMasterMind345 Used to be that I paid attention to a lot of what others had sorted out. Now, I make up my own mind. I have studied on Jesus and the Messianic movement and have simply found it to be contrived. FWIW.
@@BruceWSims The claim mixes facts with misconceptions and inaccuracies. Here’s a breakdown:
This Bible verse written some 550 years before the advent of Islam, foretold Muhammad’s encounter with the angel re his first revelation:
And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
-2 Corinthians 11:14
Don't be shy, put up the full revelation: 2 Corinthians Paul and the False Apostles
Putting one part to act as if it talking about the prophet Muhammad, when in actuality this is talking about the false apostles.
It seems like you are a bit confused about your own scripture, here it is in full:
2 Corinthians 11 Paul and the False Apostles
11 I hope you will put up with me in a little foolishness.
@ don’t take the verse out of context. Read it properly. Verse 14 clearly talks about Satan masquerading like an angel. And it’s no coincidence that Muhammad was approached by an angel, most likely Satan himself!
@@Smile100-r3s I'm going to hold your hand when I say this, you've taken them out of context. They're talking about apostles, not future prophets, and even if it did, which it doesn't in any context, it doesn't necessarily have to talk about the prophet Muhammad pbuh. There had been many false prophets, before prophet Jesus pbuh, after him, and even to this day.
@ Thanks for agreeing that there is a possibility that the angel who approached Muhammad could be Satan himself. Open minded Muslims like you make good valid points.
Holy quran clearly said that Jesus was not killed or crucified. And considering history, history of Jesus is not part of mainstream history, it was also a part of christian theology like history not supported by historical records or other general texts. So interpreting clear Quranic verses in order to cope up with christian line is not fair nor necessary unless it is a clear historical fact like assasination of Mahatma Gandhi etc.

Luke 24:37 They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost.
Luke 24:38 He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds?
Luke 24:39 *Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”*
Luke 24:40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet.
John 20:11 Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb
John 20:12 and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot. *(other records show; not two Angels but two Essene in white dress)*
John 20:13 They asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?”
“They have taken my Lord away,” she said, “and I don’t know where they have put him.”
John 20:14 At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus.
John 20:15 He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?” Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”
John 20:16 *Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).*
Well said... However, half the story has not yet been told. It would have been more clear if a conclusion was made here. Was Jesus P.B.H. indeed put on the cross but not died and it simply made to appear to the viewers before Allah save and raise him up?
I am in favour of this theory but he did not die. He survived.

Forgive me, but is this not simply the Ahmadi opinion regarding the Crucifixion ?

The historical truth about physical crucifixion is none of Quran's business. Because that's never be the point.
I like the naturalistic explanation. We know based on NT account, that at the point of Jesus’ crucifixion, there was a man also ordered to be crucified named Jesus Barabbas. His crime was he revolted and was supposedly a rebel leader. Perhaps - and this is only a theory - with a bit of goodwill from Pontus Pilate, Jesus Barrabas was crucified instead and was thought to be Jesus of Nazareth by the jews.
Only later I learned the interpretation that the verse may mean that the crucifixion was never happened and we have no historical record or revelation of what happened during and after the crucifixion.
Again, thank you for your scholarly approach.
Go and read the gospels you will know what happened. There's more historical evidence about the crucifixion.

The Bible contradicted itself about the crucifixion Mathew Luke John and Mark all contradicted on the hour method and the way of crucifixionbshowing the incertinity of the event
Zechariah and John were killed, Ayub had to suffer continuous disease.Even Muhammad (pbuh) was stoned and poisoned. Ishmael was to be sacrificed. All these were a test from Allah.
1 Corinthians 15:14-20 says, "If Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: and if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins".
Paul was right.
Jesus did die and raise from the dead
Do not believe the quranic lie
The most important thing for remission of sins and salvation is the blood of pure life
Leviticus 17:11, the Bible says, "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul"
This is why John's when John first saw Jesus, he said
In John 1:29, John the Baptist says, "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world"
@dailybreaddaily7300 Leviticus is referring to an animal sacrifice, not a human sacrifice. Human sacrifice is forbidden in Torah.

Ahmadiyyas are not Muslim so their position is irrelevant.
@@anaskpalmalaki8804 Thanks. And what did Jesus (pbuh) do with his life after that?

In order to support their some unsound beliefs which are based on fabricated traditions; Sunni and Shia translators have been tampering translation of several verses of Quran. They tamper translation of 3:144, 21:7, 21:8, 5:75, 23:50, 21:34, 19:31, 3:55, 3:54, 32:11, 10:46, 4:157, 4:158, 4:159, 3:46, 5:110, 5:116, 5:117 .
In verse 4:159, word "MOUTE-HI points toward the death of every Kitaabi. This verse is not talking about any future death of Jesus who has already been died in 3:144, 3:55, 5:116, 5:117
_Lit., "who does not believe in him before his death"._
_According to this verse, all believing Jews and Christians realize at the moment of their death that Jesus was truly a prophet of God - having been neither an impostor nor_ "the son of God" (Zamakhshari).
In the same way, they place in bracket the name of Jesus in verse 43:61. But in 43:61, pronoun INNA-HU points toward Quran, and INNA-HU is used in several other verses too for Quran

The Quran verse that denies the death of Jesus quotes the Jews as saying "We crucified the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary..."
This is unfortunate. This statement in the Quran is not true. The Jews who killed Jesus never accepted Jesus as the Messiah. They could never have recognized as Messiah and still kill him. So, that verse of the Quran is false.
If the verse is a false and illogical claim, it means that verse did not come from any God almighty.
Wow after 600 years after Christianity believe in Jesus, who was crucified than, Allah has submerged the witnesses.
Ahmadis has solutions for your problem so contact them
4:157 NEVER denies nailing of Jesus on the Cross, but Quran denies his Crucifixion and that is true
@@minskdhaka
No.
@@minskdhaka
According to the Gospels of Luke and John, Jesus was alive in human body even after the incident of the Cross. That means: though he was placed on the Cross, but he was NOT CRUCIFIED=NOT DIED ON THE CROSS, and same is the stand of Quran in 4:157
For me, the most convincing theory is the JEWISH CONSPIRACY theory which holds that some Pharisees, not God, substituted Jesus for another person:
• the Jews arrested Jesus, and
• during the sanhedrin trial, God miraculously causes the death of Jesus (yes! Jesus died - read 'tawaffā' in 3:55 and 5:117)
• since these few Jewish Pharisees feared that people might accuse them of murdering Jesus, they buried Jesus away secretly; got hold of some similar looking guy (Judas?) and flogged him and hastened the fastest court proceedings in history, obviously in order to avoid detection.
• this also explains why Simon the Cyrene was made to carry the cross when the cross-bearer came out
• There were only few female witnesses who witnessed from far away at least acc. to the synoptics. (It also explains why Mary (one of the witnesses) would leave early Sunday morning to check out the tomb, probably to see who it was actually.)
• After the person died, a Jewish person (from arimatheus) took the body and buried it in a tomb known to people.
• During sabbath, the pharisees got the body stolen and buried it in an unknown location to avoid detection
• they then blamed the Christians as having stolen the body. They also claimed to have killed Jesus, which is to say, that Jesus was not the Messiah as the Messiah whom they expect cannot be killed let alone humiliated through crucifixion.
• And since christians knew that they didnt steal the body, they assumed that Jesus rose from the death
• the claimed appearances are probably legends/hallucinations as Christians were expecting to see the missing Jesus.
__________
In the other theory, the SUBSTITUTION THEORY, the problem is that 4:157 "...but was made to appear to them" is interpreted as if God made this deception, but the verse nowhere says that God is the doer of this action. In fact, considering that the verse continues with accusations against the Christians for believing in conjecture, it is unfair to say that God caused this deception and procedes to condemn people who got deceived. Who can escape deception if God himself caused it?
___________
The Swoon theory, presented in this video, goes against the verse 5:110 "...
