Lovely looking aircraft model. There is an error in the AFCS implementation though. The AW139 AFCS can't maintain altitude with pitch. When a vertical upper mode like ALT is selected it will only use collective to maintain the vertical reference. Pitch can only be used by the AFCS to control airspeed.
Your video has been very helpful. I managed to take off and play around with the Autopilot. BUT, I am struggling with the cockpit views , like from PFD / MFD back to center console. I saw you you move the mouse back and forth so fast to get to each panel ( AP/ guidance controller). What is the the a command to set to use the mouse to move around the cockpit panels? Thank you
You can set quick views in X-Plane. I believe my key binds are setup at CTRL + X with X representing a number pad key say CTRL + 1 or CTRL + 3 to quickly allow you to move around the cockpit in 2D mode.
@@CajunJosh Hello Josh, MY CCD has an issue. I tried using Ctrl + X, but the CCD still not working. In fact before that , when I use the mpouse click , it is not even respondoing.
I believe you can do ILS approaches, I think you can do the others as well but I'm not 100% certain on that. I haven't experimented much with that module in a bit.
i have the AgustaWestland AW139 SAR for FSX , it has a problem that the fuel flow is very high , so the fuel tanks become empty in about 5 min , anybody have this problem and fixed it ??
Thanks! Now my helicopter can follow the NAV route. Just one thing.. when following the route my helicopter leans to the right in straight flight? Does anyone else experience this?
Completely normal Nick. As you are speeding up the rotor disk starts to produce asymmetric lift. The rotors on the side of the disk that are advancing into the oncoming air start to produce more lift than the retreating blades going with the flow of wind. The faster the helicopter goes the faster the more pronounced the lean will become.
@@CajunJosh Ah yes. Thank you. I didn’t think about that. Makes sense. Using the direct to function on the FMS has also helped me with the S92 helicopter.
at 7:37 how do you get that screen/ipad ubove the aw139 plack, i dont have it, plus the quality of the text on the fmc and pfd is very bad and pretty much unredable, any help?
It's the Avitab plugin. It's been so long I'm not sure how you get it to pop up there. As far as the text goes that's a resolution issue with the display textures within the module. The user can't easily manipulate those.
I'm not exactly sure what the HTLM CAS message means, but the developer might be able to help you out if you can't find it referenced in the manual. You can join his discord here: discord.gg/77wYZK37
I guess it's a subjective opinion, possibly related to my OBS recording software. I don't have a dog in the fight as far as selling the module goes but IMO it's one of the best rotor animations out of any of the available XP11 helicopters. I know many have found the new rotor animations to be a highlight so it's possible the OBS recording settings aren't conveying accurately what I'm seeing in the sim.

Thank you for the informative information and demonstration. 👍
Thank you!! This is exactly what I needed! :D

Besides, The MCDU is not the Primus Epic FMS. Mine was an airline MCDU , although some similarities but different labels
MY CCD has an issue. I click on LH. but does not work
I select RH ( PFD) it works......but not the LH(MFD).........why?
Awesome! Are the instruments functional? Can you do VOR /DME ILS etc approaches? PBN?

Can you comment on HTLM amber messgae in ALT mode ? Why does it appear ?

dt/h:transition dawn to hover for SAR mode
BLADES still jerky not smooth at all.
i wont be buying this. till the rotor blades turn very smoothly without any sticking effect.
