It makes perfect sense. Cheaters cheat because it’s the way they get fun from the game. For some, the fun is in getting better and improving. For some, it’s just playing casually. For others, cheating at the game makes it interesting because it gives them a little edge, and that’s the fun they derive from the game, is to utilize the little edge they have, to win against people without the edge. It’s the “heh heh you tried hard and lost I cheated and won haha” feeling they are looking for. Massively insecure people. The point of playing games for them is not to compete, it’s to get an edge over people because as he said “life is unethical” so why not cheat, right? Once it gets to the “youre ruining it for everyone” that’s actually where they derive more pleasure. It literally does make the game better…for THEM.

His villain arc started in rust and he’s been punishing everyone ever since. Imo I get what he’s saying although I don’t agree, he doesn’t place value in esports/gaming integrity, he values entertainment regardless of where it comes from and if he’s honest about developing the cheats himself then to him he found a way to win which is an accomplishment in his mind. He messed with them once to show how little the Devs care, that's it. It's not gonna affect any player at all. It's absolutely embarrassing that this is even possible.
Not necessarily, these kinds of people only can validate the things they do based on how fucked up the world they perceive is. They see it as valid because well if the whole world is unethical, there's no reason not be unethical.
dude is from bielorussia, Aint nobody gonna arrest him. There are some serious shit happening in his everyday life compared to his unethical gaming dilemma

Yeah, bro's clearly highly intelligent, also notable that English isn't his first language so it's understandable he'd struggle a bit with articulation
You don't get it. He's not buying cheats; he's developing them. Breaking the game's code is what he finds fun. he is not one of the cheaters that just spends money to cheat people; he actually has skils to develop these cheats.
I've always wondered what goes on in the mind of a cheater. How can someone get enjoyment from doing something with a predetermined outcome over and over? As it turns out, there's absolutely nothing coherent about why he does it. Unsurprising but sad.
It’s actually extremely easy to understand. When you play a video game and get kills, wins etc it makes you feel good. Cheating makes that happen way more. Although it probably gets boring quick when you hardly ever die and have to keep trying
@@devino1337 But the whole reason it feels good is because YOU earned those kills or wins. If a program is doing it for you, there's no satisfaction to be gained because of course the program that does things that are mechanically impossible is going to beat human players.
A cheater usually is an ex legit player. They play the game, they’re not as good as they want to be and get shit on by better players, maybe even other cheaters. It’s too big of a hit on their ego and they ”cheat back” to satisfy their own feelings by ruining others days. It’s just an ego/psychological thing where u try and gain some egoistical high ground by unlegitimate means bcos u cant handle the fact that others are better than you. Simply put: childish.
That cheating guy is kinda right. There's no such thing as "fair" in life. You cannot always play fair (in general), you'd be demolished by those who don't. And I can somewhat respect developers of the cheat software, they did it themselves, they have a certain skill, and an incredible one. Despite the act of cheating, they have invested a lot of effort, getting useful skills in the process. But I despise common users of the software. Those are simply parasites, looking for easy times.
As a developer myself, I find the skills required to write a cheat, especially for games such as Apex are immense. Cheating is shitty, but the dedication to reverse engineer the game and write cheats for it will definitely get you a lot of money down the line in your career.
Are we just gonna forget the fact that we make games with a better set of rules than real life to pull us out of it or allow us to be on a level playing field with everyone else? How is this argument even considered? We make competitive games to start from zero and get past through everyone else doing the exact same thing with only our wits and skills - everything else (in a fair game) is provided to us or there's an equal chance for it to be provided to us (in the case of this genre). Cheating is a shortcut and a tremendously unfair one. Just because it happens one field you are admittedly good at overlaps with games doesn't mean you get to learn skills there - where many others might not be qualified to do the same and just apply them to games in means unfair to literally everyone else but cheaters and get a free pass for it. Or did we forget what games are all about in the first place?
Mande has probably no experience in programming and has absolutely no idea about reverse engineering at all. The knowledge required for what he is doing is beyond all the hours that Mande has every put to the game to 'get better'. There's been a lot of cases where the company hires directly people that have proven to know how to hack a game or a server infrastructure. I just hope this is yet another example of that, but for some reason I don't see that happening.
If he hates Rust devs he probably isn’t fond of EA or Respawn. I imagine he’d look at working for them as joining the evil empire. Or who knows? He suggested he works a lot. It’s quite possible he is a dev in the industry and the field already. Maybe Respawn is a competitor or maybe he works for them already.
I think it is funny, how Mande doesn't get the point, that people have different interests in life. While Mande gets his fun from grinding and sharpening his skillset ingame, Destroyer gets his from learning coding skills.
@@urisinger3412 i think he did and ranked his own interests higher than those of other people. there will always be people like this. ingame and in real life: those who ignore the rules and let their curiosity flow.
Tbh Mande, he’s got a point. Apex devs haven’t given much care towards the game at all over the years, they release skins and stickers anything that can make them money. They just started working on anti cheat again, they just mentioned ab adding a new map which they’ve had in data banks for 2 years plus. If a cheater running rampant is actually making them care because it’s affecting the pro players in the game, then they have no choice but to make it playable.
It actually makes sense for him to cheat in games because if he spent 4 years making the cheat its a good thing to test the limits of what you are capable of doing against a multi billion dollar company's anti cheat but he's ruining games way too much
Wait, he said "One cheater that makes the game better a lil bit and makes developers think about their game and figure their shit out" Was this his end game all along? Did he plan this ALGS hack all this time to bring respawn's attention to the cheating problem and make them fix the game? Holy shit. He's the hero we deserve, but not the one we need right now. So we'll hunt him, because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector, a dark knight. FeelsStrongMan
this is actually brilliant satire. he is trolling the minmax mentality in today meta gaming field. he minmaxed his time in coding, to profit in apex so he can have better stats than others lol
i hope he keeps doing this. it’s keeping the devs in their toes and now they HAVE to fix the cheating issue instead of blowing them off. if anything he’s an ethical hacker 🤷🏻♂️
mande probably cares more about the game than EA itself lol, and he got the patience to talk with the cheat developer which is more impressed, not by directly flaming him ,but tried to understand the reason why he did this
mande was really tryna play the moral game with dude but he couldnt understand the fact that destroyer coding his own cheats is mande's equivalent to getting skilled at the game, once u understand thts a hobby trying to talk him out of it useless, and in the end he was right, he made a impact that even news articles are speaking on
He didn't develop cheats for Apex. He flagged himself as a dev, that's why all his "cheats" are dev powers. Banning, giving away packs, make themselves invincible, spawn bots, etc. All things someone flagged as a dev can do in a live game.
Mande trynna argue “cheating isn’t fun cause you aren’t actually winning from your own skill”. But the guy keeps explaining that it’s fun for him because he isn’t just a “cheater” who buys hacks. He’s the hacker who actually MAKES the hacks and THAT is the fun part for him. Making the code/scripts and seeing it work.
The game isn't about "who's the better hacker". It doesn't matter what's fun for him, he could take it somewhere else. If he doesn't wanna play along by the rules, then he's unwelcome. It doesn't matter if he's doing good or bad at the end of the day, the point is it's a competitive game.

People who never cheated in games will never get the logic. There are a lot of categories of people who buy cheats and there are different reasons for them to do so. They do it because it's fun and they are making money and they learn coding. It's a nothing to lose situation if you are commited enough, just like Destroyer2009, he said himself he learned it in 3-4 years, and that's dedication.

Gosh, he could just sell the hack he used to a couple Pros and be settled for life.
Im actually amazed the guy says hes 18 and hes made all these cheats himself. Thats some really great skills especially at that age imo. He finds it more enjoyable testing and using his own cheats then playing the game legit. Thats crazy. I cant be mad at the dude showing off his skills just that hes putting those skills to waste especially on a game like apex legends. Dont get me wrong, i dont condone cheating nor do it like it. I feel how every other legit player feels about this. Fun for hackers but not fun for the legits.
@vari2d347 bruh if you're not willing to play by the rules no. No you don't deserve it... That's why you needed the computer to do it for you... Sounds like you may cheat
It's pretty fun to create cheats, and arguably it's a better skill to have than being good at a game. I've created cheats for csgo (much much easier than apex), and that was probably one of my most fun projects ever. I've never cheated on any of my main accounts (and never in apex), because it's also really fun to get better at games.
You are both still young. that's why your arguments are so ridiculous. - “You kill people (cheat) in the game, what if one day someone kills you in real life.” The guy is simply not interested in your “Be better”, he doesn’t want to waste his time on skills that are useless in life. Like players with controllers is also kind of cheating for MNK players. - "The game is free." No, the game is not free, you are wasting your time (often without pleasure) to entertain other people who bring money to this company. - "You're ruining their game." You too, Mande, when you kill another low-skill player that the game threw into your game for your entertainment, and another video. When you play full stack Pred team, you basically do the same thing as him. - Guy has bad English and is too young, which is why his arguments are so crumpled. As a gold player, I can explain what he means. Playing at a low rank is "boring" because the game throws you into masters+ lobby for their entertainment, and this game is not much different from playing against cheaters. There are too many videos from content creators who abuse sbmm in pubs, smurf and fullstuck for their entertainment, video and money (taxi, storman, shiv, you, faide, timmy, aceu, watson etc), they dont care about people too.
Just admit you’re a bum. If anyone knew he was cheating he would be playing alone. What don’t you get? You’re reaching for straws with comparing ppl that actually got good to someone who’s actually cheating. Lol

I mean he has some good points tbh. Making the Devs spend more time fixing cheating as a whole makes sense for security to get better, even if its a little unethical. I mean, considering what just happened at ALGS just proves how vulnerable apex and cybersecurity is. Imagine the scale if he were to get into peoples computers just because a part of apex's security is vulnerable and do worse things. In some ways i praise this guy for finally proving a point to Apex to fix their cheating issues.
Claims he has no time to play the game then says he spent 3-4 years learning to code and develop cheats, and still plays the game 6 hours a day anyway. This guy has smoked so much copium that his brain has dissolved.
If you talk about values while talking about a video game, you need to rethink it. Its not that huge its just a game. There are 1000s of cheaters, not supporting him but he probably got tired of dying to cheaters and gave up
Yeah your overthinking it. It’s a video game, completely different than life values. It’s just fun to cheat in games. I used to when I was a little kid on csgo and Minecraft and it’s generally just pretty enjoyable. I never have on apex though now that I’ve grown up
this aged well, but i frustrated you keep asking the same question. he is hacker, cheater, and it's his job... why you keep asking his question "why u hack?" he is good guy tbh, EA & Respawn should learn and making better anti-cheat. this guy single handedly taking down ALGS NA Final from his code skill. yet they keep making recolor shit and stupid heirloom price.
I’m sorry but listening to the tsm guy have Reddit takes on repeat is kinda cringe. He’s treating the cheater like a kid and is almost mocking him with every question. Of course it’s fun to cheat otherwise people wouldn’t do it. It feels good to run over people even if you don’t win. It’s not about telling yourself mentally you are the best at all… the truth is it’s simply fun. With that said, cheaters should fuck off bc the downsides of everyone cheating = a ruined game.
prime reason why ethics needs to be mandatory in school and esp in the technological field. learning code and using it for whatever you want just because you can can have heavy repercussions and i sincerely hope he (and his friends) learns this lesson one day. while it is just a game, i find it genuinely sad he doesn't give a shit about what he's doing to other very real people and has no interest in fairness, only selfish gain. that and the warped sense of superiority he feels because of the advantages gained by cheating will bleed into other areas of his life. excusing his own behaviour because "1000s of other cheaters" doesn't erase the fact that he is part of the problem.
Most of his points aren't wrong. It's morally reprehensible to cheat, but it's not as though you're forced to play legitimately. You have the freedom to act however you want. If you aren't biased towards any party, you will see that's all this video was about. There was no yelling, no interruptions apart from Mande almost cussing him out, and no third party influencing anybody's responses (excluding chat). It's truly beautiful.
7:43 No he wont, I can guarantee that will never happen. Breaking software like this is what these coders live for. As a matter of fact this is probably going into his portfolio. The game's gone to shit, Mande is just projecting at this point cause he's forced to play it for a job, and now is regretting it. Cheaters suck but idk if this video was it chief, just makes it more popular.
Normal gamers wanna know who and what cheaters are. This video gives a great example of it. So its a good vid. Mande just wants to confront their mindset even if it doenst help. This cheatrrguy contradicts himself over and over.
someone has to make him realize hes 18 years old and he already has coded cheats that can basically fuck up ea , like how isnt that winning, he would find a job and make a lot of money out of it being so young and being capable of doing such things

guy is playing apex for years now and as a legit player would only be a silver, even gold would be sad. im nothing but a filthy casual either who plays some games every now and then while this guy spends ~6h a day being ass. sad creature.

Unsurprising but sad.
be a politician or run a big business.
Its a cheater we talking about, let alone the murderer
Simply put: childish.
as soon as he said he plays rust it all made sense. rust is literally a HvH game and the mindset carry’s over
That cheating guy is kinda right.
"There's no such thing as "fair" in life."
Not because your life is fucked, doesn't mean you should ruin everyone else's.
“Why don’t you play games to have fun?”…. “I am” lol

I actually agree with him. He’s basically an antihero at this point. He should work with respawn as a white hat hacker

The game isn't about "who's the better hacker". It doesn't matter what's fun for him, he could take it somewhere else. If he doesn't wanna play along by the rules, then he's unwelcome. It doesn't matter if he's doing good or bad at the end of the day, the point is it's a competitive game.

Playing at a low rank is "boring" because the game throws you into masters+ lobby for their entertainment, and this game is not much different from playing against cheaters.

prime reason why ethics needs to be mandatory in school and esp in the technological field. learning code and using it for whatever you want just because you can can have heavy repercussions and i sincerely hope he (and his friends) learns this lesson one day. while it is just a game, i find it genuinely sad he doesn't give a shit about what he's doing to other very real people and has no interest in fairness, only selfish gain. that and the warped sense of superiority he feels because of the advantages gained by cheating will bleed into other areas of his life. excusing his own behaviour because "1000s of other cheaters" doesn't erase the fact that he is part of the problem.
Respawn should hire him just like in the movie "Catch Me If You Can" ending scene.
I actually love that kid, kinda based.
Most of his points aren't wrong. It's morally reprehensible to cheat, but it's not as though you're forced to play legitimately. You have the freedom to act however you want.
Exploit coders are a strange breed i met some exploiter devs on a vc once and there all just as strange as this dude
Who's here after he hacked ALGS
someone has to make him realize hes 18 years old and he already has coded cheats that can basically fuck up ea , like how isnt that winning, he would find a job and make a lot of money out of it being so young and being capable of doing such things
