Versant performs a cover of S.O.S. by ABBA

Versant put a poll out to let fans decide what song they should cover. After the voting, ABBA's S.O.S. was the clear winner. This is a video of them performing that song at the venue they rehearse at. Their bass player, Nicholas Oja, was in LA, so Carah Faye played bass.

@@rikiishitoru8885 They broke up many years ago after Carah departed Sweden. Carah Faye parted ways with Daniel and she rejoined Shiny Toy Guns and delivered a brilliant comeback album and tour.

regardless of what people without an ear for music say i think it was a good cover, lets face reality a little, you gotta have guts to cover any song by a legendary group like ABBA and also be able to re-arrange it to your own unique sound which is what you guys did and what i like about it
Two years now and this is still my favorite song ever. I would pay twice what I paid for the ep, again, if this was released on it. I know getting the rights to do it sucks, but damn this cover is just beyond perfect. I WANT MY FULL ALBUM!

@vickireags I totally agree. I didn't realize back when We are Pilots came out that she is such a big part of the sound, but I honestly can't say I'm as interested in their sound without her. She has an amazing voice.

Pretty decent cover. You made the song your own instead of trying to emulate ABBA. Thats how you do a cover right. Keep enough of the original in it so people know what you're doing but add into it a little of your own translation. I've heard covers go horribly wrong( even from bands I've played in) but this one just got knocked out of the ball park. Great job.

OK, I listened to it. I'd say that there's nothing better than ABBA's S.O.S., but on the other hand this version is so surprisingly different that one is bound to like it :D
BTW, I'm totally obsessed with Versant's EP since yesterday, I can't stop listening to those four songs, I wish to have some MORE! Best regards and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you guys :)
