When a Cat likes your music, it means it's darn good, because they can hear from 45 to 64,000 Hz compared to 60 to 26,000 Hz. In short, they know right away if your bottom end & higher end suck. You've got your own music Maestro right there. Be careful though. This Superpower comes at the price of also being able to hear lower amplitudes of sound vibrations (more sensitivity to volume). Meaning that they are even more susceptible to accidental deafness than we are. Protect your Cat's hearing from decibels.
