Whales are probably one of my favorite marine animals. Mainly because they're just so interesting. Their evolution is absolutely fascinating.
Fun fact: all filter-feeding whales (baleen) have dual blow holes.

Fin Whale has a slender build compared to the blue whale. In many illustrations, the fin whale as well as the blue whale are given more of a deep-bodied appearance in the side profile which isn't the case when you compare them with a footage.
I haven’t really heard of Fin whales until now that I looked up whale sizes. I guess Ricky Bobby was right; if you’re not first you’re last.

It's the sei whale. The sperm whale is the fourth largest.

@Deep Marine Scenes, actually, the Sperm Whale (Physeter macrocephalus) is the fifth largest, only the Humpback Whale (Megaptera novaeangeliae) is larger than the sperm whale but smaller than the Blue Whale (Sibbaldius musculus), the Fin Whale (Balaenoptera physalus), and the Sei Whale (Rudolphius borealis).

Corvids, elephants, and large primates are generally thought to be to more intelligent than the non-toothed whale species.
If whales went extinct, there would be more krill, fish and seals. But we would be far from "doomed"

PetHub actually wrong, whale poop help to fertilise phytoplankton in the ocean. Because the majority of our oxygen comes from the ocean via phytoplankton, we are doomed if they are to go extinct.
