I skied Colorado for the first time and we skied Winter Park three days. Fortunately the snow cat was running so no walking for me. It’s steep but not what I would call super steep. It’s great area. It was pow the days I skied it. We lapped it all day.
Right on! Where we dropped in is about 40-45, not terrible. If you keep going on the cat road you can get into the big cliff area. There's some big hit back over there.
@@DoesItTrack They we’re doing some extreme ski contest the time we were there and had it roped off. It looked like the best terrain. It’s steep but most of the runs are very wide and very skier friendly. Not tight like we found on the upper part of the East Wall at A Basin. The snow was so good the days we skied it things were just magical. If the snow was not so good it would have certainly seems much more steep. It was ego snow for us. All in all it’s a really great place to ski. Wha is also nice is some of the runs are not that steep. The ones at the beginning were beautiful and not that steep at all. I will be back next year to get the ones we missed due to the ski contest. Take care
I’m planning on doing this this spring when I go here for 5 days straight. What Part of the cirque did you ski? Also How Steep was it? I wanna try this for the first time but I'm an Intermediate/Advanced Skier and I'm really afraid of getting hurt. Any advice you got for me?
I'd try to find someone that has been down it or at least watch someone else go in front of you. Just take it easy. I'd drop into that first section there, it gets harder the further in you go. Have fun!
