For me, the Ketron is clearly winning on the quality of its sounds (predominantly its live drums and live guitars). This is why I complemented my PA4X with a SD-90 recently. The combination gives amazing results.
The Korg is good and for some examples, very good. The Keytron is livelier sounding. They have managed to EQ it in a manner that allows for more clarity. It also seems to have less of that fake auto accompaniment factor that these types of keyboards tend to have. The Keytron SD9 sounds great and would be my choice by a landslide for an auto-accompaniment keyboard.

i prefer the AUDYA 5 over the SD9, the sound of SD9 is not quite as live, and has too much reverb which is bad when playing live, especially in halls that are "boomy"
Yes, that is true. AUDYA is more authentic and "live sounded" than SD9. And has more and really sounded Rock styles - amazing. SD9 don't have this Live guitars and on SD9 is sound more "smothed"'and reverbed ... (good for listen at home and youtube, but not for live playing - minimal you need a lot of equalization and set reverb on 0! Problem are audiom drums with default reverb recorded in audio)

At 5:00 you hear a "problem" of Korg, that I also have with my Pa1000. You have to be exactly with your timing. Otherwise, the transitions will no longer be clean. This is the case with some but not all styles. You can influence the retrigger behavior of a sound in the editor, but you still have to be very precise. Of course that's practice. Therefore only problem in quotation marks. Still not always pretty or easy to achieve clean transitions.
Miałem krótko Sd9 kupiłem go ze względu na jakość sampli użytych w tym instrumencie,tym mnie urzekł. Niestety później przyszło rozczarowanie,bo najnormalniej instrument jest niedopracowany zawiesza się i ma ukryte wady w sekwenserze wymieniłem na Pa4x jest ok.
właśnie jestm przed wyborem pomiedzy nimi dwoma i ciężko podjąć decyzje. Chcę nagrywać podkłady dla siebie, i przeważnie nazwijmy je akustycznie. Szukam instrumentu, który najlepiej odzwierciedla barwy prawdziwych instumentów bez dodatkowych efektów i upiększaczy. Te to doda się na koniec w miksie. The Ketron sounds cleaner and much closer to a live band. The drums are very realistic of a live drummer. The Korg is good but often overloaded in the accompaniment segment. You often have to mute individual tracks here. From the sound example, my choice would be the Ketron. But I heard that Ketron is very unstable in live mode and often crashes.

...what is that glitching korg is doing when changing variations??.... disappointed in korg a lot.. was planing to get the pa4x and when i found that glitch its just disgusting to see that of a flagship keyboard from korg...
There would have been enough space, but Ketron did not solve the dedicated INTRO and ENDING buttons, and the lack of the MultiPad buttons is also a disadvantage with KETRON. Is there a software for Ketron can produce INS samples? I do not know! Sound is totally good for both instruments.
why ridiculous..? Those that dont have easy access to these stores at least know a little more about what these boards sounds like. Not everything is about yours is bigger than mine.
I have Korg Kronos2 and Yamaha Genos. Yamaha Genos has much much realistic Acoustic sounds. Korg Kronos rules in Pianos, Synths and Pad Sounds. However seeing this review I would say Ketron SD9 has very punchy rhythms and Accompaniment but Yamaha Genos has much much better and it has its value for money. Cheers!!

Korg Sucks , I made the big mistake of buying a PA 3 a year ago , tried for a year to get some help ,they kept referring me to the manuals , you can't register any of the styles or tempos,so it's useless ,
Toby Carr yep I'm glad I did not get the pax4 I bought the pa900 instead and did not care for it I thin bought the Roland EA7 AND I love it The pa900 now just chills in the closet.
RICKY GARCIA depends for what reason you use it. Pa900 is a very good keyboard but pax series have superior sound engines. EA7 is a unique instrument. There is no comparison with Pa4x though.

@@FikoVelasco My advice for all keyboard manufacturers that they operationally copy Korg scheme ...more variations and files and more RAM sampling memory 1GB minimum ....I have all keyboards and I performing professional weddings, night clubs and other I started from Roland,Korg, Yamaha, Ketron and again Korg and for live performing the best keyboard is Korg, I agree Yamaha have good samples but without RAM and custom samples all keyboards are nothing

I like the Keytron better, because it is much easier to operate compared to the Korg. But both keyboards are very expensive.
