Super helpful Alec! Especially crack filing. But how casually you said "just peel off the face" to then make the fix. Wow.

How does the repaired area take different finishes? Do any of the standard finishes attack the glue area?

I just take a piece of bark some 80grit sandpaper make a little pile of sawdust . Then I take the superglue make a paste like wood filler then fill the cracks. I learned that from Rich Jenkins the whimsical house carver.

Hey thanks for doing this video. I have some makonde pieces broken during travel. I was wondering if I can use the same method as I have fime dust. Any pointers?

I know they make a spray to speed up drying, do they make a spray that slows down the drying ?

I am a carver and something I don't understand is why carvers don't use Mohawk colored stick epoxy. I have used this product for years you can't beat this stuff, you can the colors in a few min. You can rock and roll. I can't figure out why you guys don't use it. Try it it's wonderful
