I've been into the roleplay community going all the way back to Morrowind, and I have to say, this Briar Witch character might be one of the best I've ever seen. No joke. I can't remember a more cohesive back story for a player character in a long while. It's a breath of fresh air to see a back story with real purpose and motivation. Let's be honest, the vast majority of back stories for the PC on a lot of other channels are generic and uninspired. The justification for the Briar Witch to find herself in Skyrim is truly original and interesting. The leveling, armor and weapon choices, faction selection, everything, fits perfectly with the back story. I think Skypothesis has outdone itself. This might be your best work. 👍
What I always love about this channel is that it manages to create different unique builds in vanilla skyrim (anniversary edition) without the need for mods.
The best thing about these builds is how even though they are all vanilla, the themes and overall build can be perfectly translated into my current load order. Perfect channel just wish you uploaded more 😭
I haven’t played a Peryite-worshipper since the old “Order of the Twin Serpents” Altmer from the old Skyrim Blog days. What a fun build, can’t wait to give it a try!
I loved the backstory and motivations. I like how her perspective isn't just evil but that her actions are for the sake of balance. I love her aesthetic and that it's not the typical dark hooded necromancer. Nicely done!
This is a truly inspired build. It astounds me how you guys continue to come up with interesting and lore-friendly characters. Keep up the amazing work, guys!
I’ve been playing this one on expert difficulty, and I’m level 53. I’ve put points in to alchemy because of the nature aesthetic and massive power boost, and one handed to accommodate the dagger.
Great opener and gorgeous aesthetic even by this channels high standards. Also Rite of the Ancient Sentinels is pure genius. I was working on a "medium" build using ghost/spirit summons only and using rapid refresh (like highborn or potions) and two undying ghosts would never have occurred to me. Last, such a low health pool summon or not would bother me as would plying with diseases but its sound for this build.
After watching the full video I have to say I feel like you've stepped up your game and really put even more effort into the little things. I really like this build but also the whole video editing is really well done. Personally I feel like tge extra time that you took for your videos is represented here and hopefully in the next videos too.
Another thing, I love playing witches in rpg games. I played a witch in Morrowind as well as oblivion and BG3. I just got a pc and was going to give Skyrim another go. I’ll definitely be using this build in a few months! Thanks again for the great content.
Love her! Great use of the haunting spirits as coven members, undead Orchendor, and Anises cabin, among so many other things. She feels like a young version of the bg3 hag witch. I was afraid she would overlap a lot with my current Peryite build and my druidic build, but she's totally different. Truly her own!
Pretty good swerve! I thought it would be a Sheo focus. I love the wrinkle of the dragon blood and being immune to Peryite's blessing. The impetus for that may have just been that the game has no such blessing, but it's a cool RP/lore idea and opens some different options if using Wintersun. Love the bit of Atronach Forge use, too. With the use of Enchanting, she could use Bloodthorn at least for stealthy soul-trapping kills (e.g. for Brotherhood quests). If nothing else, it fits her theme. 🙂 I haven't done much with the ghostly side of Necromantic Grimoire, or Necromancer's Ritual, and this is a great build for it!
The fact that I started a poison/ disease based build who worships peryite (based on the deathguard) after a near year hiatus from Skyrim, and Skypothesis do the *exact same thing* 2 days after tells me this is the perfect channel
This character is amazing. Her story is interesting and engaging. Her aesthetic is beautiful and almost like a poisonous flower with the colors. She seems like she'll be a blast to play. ❤
I was hyped af for this build and yet, once again, you have surpassed every expectation i had for The Briar Witch. She's just such a cool and unique character ! She's definilty more lawful evil than neutral with her desire to apply harsh natural order of life in the name of her daedric god and that what make her a fantastic character to roleplay as ! Starting my playtrough right now, i was expecting a connextion to The Bulwark of The Bog due to both of them being plague characters but she's awesome nonetheless !

Amazing build as always! I'm excited for this new year of builds! I'd also like to mention how amazingly well Vindsvepts music works with these build videos. I usually pop on a Vindsvept playlist to write and quickly noticed the use of them in these videos. They add a certain amount of whimsy that amplifies the already existing charm!
Alright, i have a few thinks to say. First, I f**king LOVE this channel, it's easily in my top 10 favorite UA-cam channels (maybe even my top 5). Second, what a great build, most of the witch builds out there always seems too cliché like " yeah, she's a wicked pure evil cruel monster with little to no humanity left, etc, etc". This feels more balanced, yeah she doesn't really have regard for lives but it's more because she lets death do its job. And last think, if all builds this year are as good as this one then I definitly wouldn't understand how good you guys are at making character (sometimes I feel like you should just straight writ a book...ok maybe not but still, wow).

Bless you for still uploading. Working on a sword and board character..... I know boring right 😅. But the gimmick to the build is that it uses ring of the wind for 15% movement speed and light armor. I play only now on legendary survival and I'm never a stealth archer. Also no enchanting or alchemy loops. Just smithing to level 60. Love this game ❤

Obviously you have your own builds planned, but I think and Orc Mage or a Elf warrior could be cool. In particular, a High Elf who grew up as an Immigrant in Bruma and blended High Elven culture with Nordic virtues of honor, courage, and strength, and an Orc halfbreed who was abandoned by his tribe but taken in by Bretons and taught the virtues of Breton culture such as chivalry, magic, and scholarly pursuits.

Id imaging saving alot around vampires, would hate to have cleanse yourself, then reacquire Peryites blessings again, speaking as someone who has done a disease themed build before xD
first I would love another series of three siblings, each going their own way: One who goes all out for the Thief skills (Archery included, hybrid combat/stealth archer) who's also an insanely good Alchemist One using lot's of warrior skills (maybe one handed and shield for Humanoid enemies and Two-handed for massive enemies like Dragons, Giants and Centurions) who's also a very good Blacksmith The last being a Mage who fully utilizes all 5 Schools (staves would be Very nice!!) and is known for his Enchantments as the only one who knows how to double enchant Maybe aim for level 46 to 1) hit levelled gear breakpoints (if necessary), 2) for more levels and perks as you use pretty much all the trees of a "class"
More brilliance as yoozh. I especially love how clever that first combo is; it’s deceptively simple but a really synergistic way of reinforcing the race choice. 😙👌

I always love seeing Daedra based builds.
The name of this one stroke me though... I can't think of any Forsworn build yet on the channel.
We have a hard time RPing as a Forsworn because they’re such a common enemy in the game… but never say never!
