I too have the Tesla S 100D, we definitely speak the same language. Those that are adverse to the S typically have never driven one. Every day I get behind the wheel is a new and exciting experience. I have owned many exotic cars over my lifetime and I can tell you nothing compares to the xhilaration and the simple joy of driving Tesla S 100D. Congratulations on such a wise choice. Happy driving from California.
Yes, that red is so beautiful and will be even better after the full detailing the Tesla is having as I write this! You got it, new tires are Michelin Pilot Sport :-)
Lisa, sorry to hear you don’t plan to live long enough to perhaps have another car. Is it due to old age or a terminal illness? Probably in 5-10 years there will be so many choices better than Tesla.
@@imho7250 Nope. I'll always have a Tesla. They are at least a decade ahead of everyone. One only needs to have the car (most importantly, the software and AutoPilot) to know.
Lisa, Tesla is definitely offering the best value right now, but Tesla isn’t a decade ahead on any technology. Tesla merely has selected a well matched bundle of available technology. Unless you’re about to die, it’s ridiculous to say you’ll never have another car besides a Tesla.
@@imho7250 Tesla has 'Selected' a well matched bundle of 'Available' technology? No - they created it. And No - I'll stick with Tesla's cars thank you very much.
It's great to see how happy you are driving this car. Your S5 videos had a more serious tone, whereas it's clear you are really having fun with the Tesla.
Hahahah those 0-"80" accelerations. I'm dying to try one of those... of course you lost the awesome motor/pipes sound, but as you said, at the end you're saving money and enjoying every bit of it! Waiting for the next update ;)
Would love to see in the future your experience with servicing electric car, how often is required, issues you have etc. We all know these things for combustion engine cars, but the electric engines are whole new universe, so this feedback will be useful for all of us, who soon or later will switch to EV
I have watched many Tesla reviews. I really enjoyed yours. I’m fairly certain that my next car will be electric and probably a model 3. Plenty of sunshine here in Australia so with solar panels on house should be able to charge the car for very little. I agree with your view of the wood grain interior ( previous video). Enjoy!!
I see you made the decision to go with what you were dreaming of at night! That smile each time you accelerate will not get old! And each morning you wake up you do not have to remember how much gas you have, because it is a full "tank". I'm surprised you said the insurance is less than your S5. I thought it would be more expensive.
@@WiZe1972 Wow... that is really forward thinking. Maybe they have some data that indicates EV drivers are more responsible? How many percent is the discount?

So depending on how much battery you have left at the end of the day, the time it takes to recharge is what? the Tesla seems to be more developed than the Audi.
You get bored of cars quickly. I totally understand you. But I think you'll stay with Tesla a long time. The only way you might get bored in my opinion is you might want the roadster down the line somewhere, or the S refresh.

If he has 400v 3 phase charger in the garage, the car need around 6-8h from 0-100%. For example charging from 20-80% will last around 3-4h :)

Problem with these cars is tesla does not offer parts if something goes wrong. You cannot find them anywhere.
