haha "and 3......."
Haha sometimes you are flowing in forget where you are going!!
Oh I've done the same thing like 100x! Also the parchment paper on the back of the bottle is an AWESOME tip
@@derrekord there are a bunch of secrets haha I think my third one is expect to adapt and reset your lights
Talking about taking it to the next level...that commercial looks SO clean!
Thank you so much!!
Golden video... the master of light 100% Austen Paul.... You are incredible, a real master of light
Wow, thanks!
The lighting is sooo clean! Thanks for another great and informative tutorial Austen!
Thank you so much man means a lot!
Love this gradient lighting. Superb
As always ... it was a pleasure coming across this...thanks Austen'
Of course thank you for watching!
@@AustenPaul I'm smiling, thanks for your time taken.. whilst responding
My respects!
Great work! Very inspiring! Please do another one about the actual commercial video shoot and post-production.
Nice video, good tips! Keep it up
Will do thanks for watching!!
Amazing Austen ...what incredible tips , you've also mentioned in the past that ND filters also help with reflections , its very very useful !
Yes the polarizer filter and polarizer gels help a lot. Only so much I can teach in each video!
@@AustenPaul oh for sure ! you already gave more than enough 👍🏻!!
Thank you for all the tips and tricks!
Thank you most beautiful girl in the world :)
Right on bud 🙌
My man!
Can you do Part 2 for the actual commercial video shoot and post-production?
Bro this is cool I need a master class on this.
I have a whole product video course on all of this!
@@AustenPaul ya bro I have seen that. I mean a master class .like the eding stuff + transition + colour grading + fonts adding etc the whole process
No one can say it's shot by camera it looks like 3d man❤️🤯🔥
Haha that’s the best compliment I’ve heard all day!!
i thought it was done by CGI, that the real commercial ads, keep it up
Than you so much thats a huge compliment!
Thanks 😮
So helpful! Glad to see you back on the YT grind!
Slowly coming back!! Thanks for supporting
Amazing commercial and thank you for sharing the techniques.
Will you be shaing the tutorials on how you madethis commercial as well? very much interested....
No I won’t I have a BTS for Instagram but it won’t come out until Wednesday!
I don't like whiskey but I like this commercial 👍😁
Haha I always say their is a whiskey for everyone you just haven’t found it yet!
@@AustenPaul ahahahah 😅. Who knows... Maybe one day I'll find the right one
Please explain all the videos in this way it was great
I love your videos, keep up the good work!! :)
I will do my best I want to share as much as I can!
Damn Sick!!
Great content, great tips. Thank you!
No problem thanks for watching!!
This so cool Austen and thanks for the tips. Please do a tutorial on how you achieved the shots.🙏
Love it; looks beautiful 🧡Thank you, Austen 🙏
Awesome tutorial As usual Paul! I really like it,but only one think I have
Could you please show the difference between the product with light without the paper and the product with light and with the paper? Because I can´t see reason when you use all of these lights and papers and finally use the ,,flask-shape-paper” and (in my opinion) kill all those light which you pre-prepared😀 thank you and sorry, I´m only curios😀👍
I do show both before I put the paper on you see the difference
Could you next time maybe talk about camera settings, like shutter, iso, aperture and maybe also show some side by side before and after with certain lights added?
Of course I can always share more this is primarily focused on the lighting side of things!!
Bro you get some of the crispiest light+color out there. Love it. Do you grade it yourself?
I do everything myself! And thank you!
Amazing as always! What's the portable smoke machine?
Thank you it’s called the pmi smoke genie
Hi Austen, Awesome video! What is the Diffusion paper called? Can I get it off B&H?
I use savage translum but I have a lot in the bio with everything
@@AustenPaul awesome thanks so much🙌
The commercial you made looks incredible, are you using an robotic arm when you are doing all those clean and controlled movements?🔥🔥
Yes I am for half the shots the other half are done on tripod and or slider and jib!
Mr Paul.. just a quick question..
some Cold drinks in some footage there's a little smoke or steam because of Cold ❄️.. come out of the bottle...How to get it ?! How I can get a smoke coming out the bottle please 😇
A few ways you can use a gazer like I did at the end of the video or dry ice but that’s pretty aggressive
@@AustenPaul thank you 😇... I really appreciate your help!!
@@blackguilty7165 of course always happy to help!!
hahahaha thank you for the 3rd one, amazing dude
The third one is the most important haha don’t forget it otherwise it won’t work
As a product photographyer trying to get into the videography thing, your lighting is on par with what we do in the photography but in my case, I use a bounce card (white foam core) for fill.( granted flash is more powerful than continuous light).. I just got a slider and a video fluid head.can you walk us through on your video movement and possibly post processing with this shot?..thanks
I have a video called 5 tips and tricks on how to use your slider that should help a lot with the movement! Yeah reflecting cards are a little but more difficult to use in video especially if you want to rotate your product!
nice
Great stuff!
This is soooo awesome. The value of your C stands excede the value of my whole gear now tho hahaha 🤩🤩🤩 Rgds✌
man. we need editing breakdown 😊
Haha those are a pain for me I take a long time to edit and step away too much to do a break down
@@AustenPaul I know bud. I hope you're gonna upload it on the course tho 😉😁
@@RobertZivko haha I could I could I’m actually building an entire new course that you will all have access to for free
@@AustenPaul lookin forward for that man! 😍😍
Doesn't own a camera. Shamelessly tries to learn everything Paul teaches only to forget after leaving the app.
Insane stuff pal!! ♥
You don’t have to have a camera to learn cool stuff! But hey if anyone asks you to randomly light a whiskey bottle you got this haha
@@AustenPaul indeed... Thank you for these great videos. ♥
Mad respect for you.
Wonderful 🤩🤩
Thank you so much!!
is he back
Maybe not haha
Amazing
Bro you need a monitor. Maybe you do have one when you’re actually shooting the commercial but when you have to adjust the modifiers and then go to the camera to check how it looks, it’s really not convenient nor efficient.
I do have one I’m just trying to not overwhelm people with what to use to light the set up and keep it simple for the viewer
@@AustenPaul got you! I respect that.
Epic!
It requires hell lots of light. I just need to get a Tube that I don't have in order to light the scene like this! But that is freaking expensive!!!
Hey Bro Where Are the Other Shots Bts
They are on my Instagram this is just a lighting tutorial!
The clip would be even more ingenious if the horizontally inclined bottle in the credits of the clip 0:40 contained the liquid as such a horizontally inclined bottle.
Where is the BTS?
Will be on my Instagram Wednesday
Neat :)
Thank you so much!!

"you don't need expensive equipment"
*whips out 10K worth of Lighting equipment*
You don’t need expensive equipment… you can do the same setup with starter lights you just need to know how to light. Again this is what I own now for other reasons and built up to this so I’m not going to buy starter lights to show the same setup.
First
Heck yeah!!
first
Woot woot!
A lot of value in your videos and i thank you for that sir!!! Keen for the BTS 🤩🤌
The BTS will be dropping on my insta on Wednesday this was more about lighting
