Disassemble an EPSON projector lamp ELPLP88 light bulb look inside FMA failure mode

Hi everybody, and welcome to my "stevenofpa" UA-cam Channel!
This video shows you what it's like to see this old used damaged not working light bulb lamp projector lens reflector assembly that was removed and replaced with a new lamp from Amazon in an EPSON projector. Pretty cool! It's neat to disassemble things so you can look inside and see how they work and learn new things, even old broken items can be educational and you can learn from them by taking them apart to see what's inside, just like this bulb, which has a weird wire wrapped around the OUTSIDE of the glass light assembly, what is that for? not really sure,

be careful, the old bulb can be VERY HOT, need to give it plenty of time to cool down before attempting this repair!

Hi,
where does the Metal piece with the number 3 on it + the mesh go? I had to clean my case after an exploded bulb and now I can't seem to fit the number 3 metal piece back into the shell

Figured it out. It is a "flap" and goes vertically into the whole behind the big mesh. The metal mesh that fell out goes into the grove behind
