Warriors improvement will come down to how good Kuminga, Podz and Trayce will be. Those three players improvement are crucial for the warriors competing for something in the western conference next year, ideally for the playoffs. Ignore this statement if they manage to trade for Lauri. But Im not holding my breath for that one.
I think Bontemps is onto something. Kerr and Curry said losing Klay is devastating but you look at the guys they brought in and how they can fit with Steph, with Melton, Hield, and Anderson being solid role players off the bench.
@@lyinbobbycottonseed Curry, Wiggins, Kuminga, Draymond, Trayce, Looney, Podz, Melton, Anderson, Hield, Moody, Sacric, Payton. Warriors have depth galore. If you trade for a guy like Lauri you probably give up draft capitol plus 2-3 of those guys. You still would have Curry and Lauri plus depth that can guard and shoot. With the west getting weaker, I could see Golden State being a top 8 team with the squad they have now and possibly a top 5 team if they trade for Lauri or maybe Brandon Ingram.
@@Jackson54321 bruh what 😂 Wiggins is done, so is Draymond. Kuminga, we’ll see if he takes another step forward but as of now he’s very inconsistent. Saric isn’t even on the team anymore. Not a single person on this roster can score consistently besides Steph, and he’s 36. It ain’t happening bro. The west is not getting weaker, Mavs just got Klay and Kings just got DeRozan. Thunder also got better, Wolves are still elite, Denver will still be good. Houston and San Antonio may contend for a play-in seed. Only team that got worse was the Clippers.
@@lyinbobbycottonseed ok my bad on Saric 😅 but Minnesota, OKC, Sacremento, Denver, and Dallas are the only solidified teams better than them right now. I’d say the warriors are about 8th but they COULD get better and be a top 5 seed. In order to win a ring you need a superstar or two and solid role players. If GS got a second star, they would be very close to that criteria.
@@Jackson54321 Nah, Sacramento and Lakers are better than GSW too. They each have more than one star that can score and better defense. Phoenix and NO are better too. Clippers are probably just as good as the Warriors if Kawhi is healthy. Warriors will fight with the Rockets for the 10th seed.
"Fairly significantly better, potentially"? Maybe perhaps almost definitely for sure, god willing? Sure, they could be a lot better than they were last season, but I think their ceiling might be conference semis, that's it.
Lol you haters can yap about the warriors being trash. You did it a lot in 2020 in 2021. But time got silenced in 2022. And the warriors are ready to do it again. They still have one of the best coaches. And Steph never really took a step back. They actually had a better record in 2024 than 2023. And if they improve the same amount they did last year, and stay healthy. They’re easily cracking 50 wins.
@@Lakeshow2023 Nah I think they can both go higher 4-5. The clippers are going to collapse without pg13. The suns are probably going to be worse too. And the pelicans and kings just had major roster changes. And I don’t think there new lineups are great fits. I could see them faltering. Only five wins separated the 10 seed warriors from the 4 seed clippers.
He mentions health being the big IF. So they're much better if melton is healthy. He also mentions Draymind actually playing games (which is the potential part). Conditions met, they're much better. Sounds backwards not hard to understand if English is your native language.
So are the lakers but that doesn't stop the news cycle from covering them saying they will compete. Also what about in 2022 when they won a chip were they washed then. They still have young players on this team so its not like the whole roster is old has beens. Has your team won 4 titles in 8 or 9 years.

😂 there’s a reason Anderson and Hield barely played in the playoffs. Melton is getting overrated now. They’re not making the playoffs next year
