Amby is such a sweetheart and incredibly talented all around. Gizz have kept me sane in 2020, as well as spinning The Murlocs, Pipe-Eye, Bullant, everything these Flightless boys put out there is incredible and cathartic.
Murlocs and Gizz are the soundtrack to my Adolescence and I will forever be grateful. So many emotions uncle Murl yanks out of me.
This man just belched and kept talking lol
That's Aussie etiquette
Such a rad dude. Love you amby!
Great interview! I have some constructive criticism, if you'd like: the video call stuttering gets in the way of hearing the answers sometimes. I know this can't always be avoided in the video call itself, but it can always be worked-around for the final video by having the interviewee set up a camera on their end, and afterwards, they can send you the footage and you can sync it up with your recording of the call. The guest doesn't even necessarily have to have a good camera; there's ways for the guest to record their webcam while simultaneously using it in the video call. This may not be possible in every situation, and I've never done this myself so take this advice with a grain of salt, but I do know that this technique is common. Anyway, despite my one criticism, this was a really good interview! Thanks for doing what you do and have a good day :D
Good interview - great questions - thanks from a Gizzhead

Is it the same guy who interviews all the bands? For some reason I always assumed the dude behind FaceCulture to be older. Maybe his son?
At FaceCulture we work with two main interviewers: founder Martin Kuiper and Robin Hignell. Robin conducted this interview, and he is indeed more than ten years younger than Martin ;-)
Ahh yes I remember some of the artists referring to ‘Martin’ in the interviews 😄 you guys sound very similar to eachother, and not just cause of the Dutch accent! Anyway thanks for the answer, I’ve always wondered that haha :-D
Btw best interview channel for bands on the internet imo
Much appreciated Sam!
well, he prefer the muddy water.
