Absolutely lovely technical video. Explanation and camera angles are quite good. More close-ups would have been better. Different wings are fastened by different ways as I watched similar clips. Good educational data. Please do more on rigging on the cable controls as well. Thumbs up & subscribed.
I was surprised that there was not some form of deadlock on either the tailplane thumbscrew or the wing pin collars. A spring clip or similar would give me reassurance that they could not come undone
OHH BRother.... that little pin holds the wing?? wuuuu I though the connection looks like a U shape horizontally from one end and a thick horizontal rectangular bar goes into the middle of U shape bar from the other side and tighten up with 6-8 bolts
well, i have an astis CS jeans, flying it in Romania, and even tho i have a self-rigging system, i find it IMPOSSIBLE to rig it by myself, because i cannot align the 4 pins in the 4 holes, it's driving me crazy. Last summer i spent almost 5 hours trying to get the second wing in all alone. Any tips for one man rigging an astir? :D
I also have Astir jeans and never spent more than 5 minutes to asemble wings. But I always do it with 3 people. First put right wing. After put right wing to place lock right wing with locking twist. Than same with left. It is esential thet fuselage must be with ball centered. Best regards from Croatia. Josko
Hi, really interested video. Thanks for sharing this. I assume you've just bought it? How long have you been gliding before you decided to buy your own?
Very good info to built my 1/4 rc astir cs 77 by my own... Lot of interesting details can see in this video. Thank you for share! Great to see! 😎👌
