What made the grob wings go level before takeoff? Was it just lift from the prop wash?
Good observation! If there were a good enough headwind, I could have used ailerons to level the wings, but in most cases there is a wingrunner that will level the wings for you and run a few steps with the glider until there is sufficient airflow... it doesn't take much at all. If there is no wind or no wingrunner, you can just let the wing drag on the ground for a few feet because there are metal skids on the wingtips for that purpose. In fact, that's usually what happens when you land.
