I just did this and got it modified. It works like a brand new camera and all my pictures are flawless. Also best company!!!
They are amazing to work with!
Saw your comment on Cathrin's video and wanted to show some support! Keep going and creating :)
Thanks so much that’s so sweet of you!
For that money, that flashbar better light up my future
Hahahaa
The dots on the film is just a bit of dirt in the rollers, get a damp towel and clean them up, usually it’s a bit of chemistry from a previous frame that got stuck there, and when the film is ejected it leaves a mark
Thanks for letting me know!
@@AteTreeWon what do you rate from a 1 to 10 ‘cause I got one from Retrospekt
Yeah was gonna comment this. The original SX-70 instructions even go into this sort of info.
I just read that the middle selection on the flash is for half power mode so you can use Polaroid 600 film without the ND filter! Nice video!
Thanks so much!!!
I guess that the green and orange filters are for use with black&white film !
Oh nice I didn’t know that!
I’m going to buy at retrospect I took a peek at there website end love love love respect
I know! They do a killer job!
I just got a SLR670 and am finding that I need to clean the rollers pretty much every pack. This's probably been said a million times below, but the imperfections in the flash images look like roller gunk.
Yea that’s what I ended up doing as well
In my experience leakage is more likely to happen with expired film. The caustic developer paste seems to eat slowly through the chemical pods and the sealing tape of each frame and getting squeezed out when passing through the rollers.
You're just gonna have to upkeep with the rollers. Even polaroid manuals recommend you clean them every 3 or 4 packs
Love retrospekt and everything they stand for!
Same! They are an amazing company!
Bro, nice review, enjoyed it, but you definitely need shorter handels on your glasses.
3:03 😱👀😰
Is it safe to buy there?????
Yes! Very safe! They are experienced professions!
How much does it cost to fix?
It costs $400 but they basically fix it brand new. They even give you a list of what was done. I’d recommend only sending one in that’s really broken because the cost is the same either way.
@@AteTreeWon yo- i’ll just look up a Polaroid fixing video if there are any problems with my camera
@@AteTreeWon the entire closing problem would have been fixed with a fresh battery
The mirror didn’t go down because the battery was dead
Hello gamer
And that much money for an sx-70 that the company chose to end manufacturing on? That better include film
