Milwaukee, DeWalt, Ryobi, Husky & Rigid are great quality wise brands. As most are commenting here quality is sub-par from China, at least retail level. The above brands are sold by THD. Lowe's carries most of the above plus the Cobalt brand. Cheers from sunny Florida.

My saw is 25 years old Makita (made in Japan and not China) as they are today. I NEVER buy Chinese blades as they are rubbish. the good brands are expensive but last for many years. DeWalt or Milwaukee are fine.
It look very nice at the Dacha. Don't you still stay there? It must be warm for Sheffie to still go so deep into the water. Does UA-cam still pay you? Many, many other Russians don't get paid since it was banned in your country. Give Sheffie a hug from me? 😘
Do you know anyone that does metal work? My husband cuts up my painting boards (exact same kind) using a 48 inch 16 gauge box and pan or finger brake. He can break them to any size I need and no dust!
I see that Alex's Dewalt mitre saw seems to have the same lever at the back as mine which moves the disk 2 degrees. No idea what this is for but it was several months before I noticed nothing was cutting square!

My Russian friend (who is also from Fryazino) has told me many times about the Chinese goods that flow into Russia, they are even WORSE than the Chinese goods that flow into the US - apparently anything that is second quality in Chinese-made consumer goods gets dumped off onto secondary markets, and Russia is included in that. My friend Alex, would that I could, I would Fed Ex you a new DeWalt blade.
I bought a Makita cordless drill back in 1989. I retired it and bought a new one in 2002. The new ones battery didn't last near as long as the old one. Retired it and kept using the old one until 2018 when I dropped it 60ft onto concrete. It didn't survive the fall. 😢

Valeria, please tell Alex to wear hearing protection when he uses his saw. I wish I'd followed this advice when I was younger.
So sorry the new disk for the saw was not good, but that's smart to keep the other and sharpen it. I hope you can find a better new one in the future.

Bonus comment. I sometimes paint on the other side of the board which makes the painting look like it is painted on very expensive canvas !!

I do believe Milwaukee/Rigid/Ryobi have withdrawn from China. Either gone to VN or India. The issue now is China's knock-offs.

Have you thought of painting on the disc? I have scenery painted on them and hung up.
