6yrs ago I was kicking heroin not knowing if I was going to make it. My wife locked me in the room and gave me the controller. All I watched was you, Rob, Benny, and Blerd without fear. Video after video you guys got me through it. Your guys' voices gave me something I needed at that time. I've been sober since. Love you Benny RIP, tell the men who have gave us the characters we cherish that we appreciate everything they've given to us.
Let me tell you something I hope his family reads this I lost my oldest child & only son Michael on 6/4/20 (4 yr anniv just passed). I lost my job, purpose, best friend, everything in a instant. I got him into comics watching Rob's channel Benny's then yours Dopespill. Going back & watching them videos & seeing some of the comments we left was heartbreaking but made me realize how short & precious life is & to share that time with your loved ones wisely. He got a kick out of his diff hairdos over the years lol. Because of the energy he put into the world with these videos I was finally able to deal with my trauma & although there's still that huge scar I'm hopeful for the future finally. I would pass out listening to his voice covered in tears many, many nites. What mattered in the end wasn't money possessions status it was HOW did I love & if I loved him enough. Benny helped me make it through a time I tried to kill myself twice & couldn't even look in a mirror at myself for 2 yrs. It's tough writing this out but his family needs to know the impact he had on people in this world. I'm not just a name on a video, I'm a human being, father, husband, & friend. I'll never, ever forget my only regret is I couldn't of told you this while here. What you helped me regain was priceless something that may have seemed simple & small to you. I admit i never questioned character development in comics starting out, Benny's passion was palpable in his vids, and his character breakdowns made me look at all fiction writing differently. This was a very kind way of remembering him, thanks for sharing your memories with us.

I had fallen out of love with comics, but the way he voice acted it and made his videoed made me fall in love with them again. He also got me to fall in love with DnD with his capes and pals. As u get older and u lose that childish innocence and realize how crazy life and this world can be comics remind u of that feeling that hey maybe anything is possible maybe tomorrow will be a better day! Not having comics in my life for a few years i didn’t realize how much they inspired me. Once I found u guys and u guys filled that hole all in ur own unique ways.
