This mod is legendary, I just saw Cooler streaming this today and my jaw just dropped, the fact that they picked up the slack and recreated Q:CP in Q3 is amazing, fingers crossed this mod gets more exposure and more people pick it up.
this is great work!!! i started tinkering with QC in Q3 back in late 2017 early 2018, before QCDE. My gut told me this could be done, and to this day I still believe it so. I've made some videos showcasing my work throughout the years, and the latest version uses some work done by others as well. All my stuff is just a combination of mine and others' work, and just simple stuff like replacing the sounds, models, and so on. The issue is that you really need a custom engine to take it further, to include all the functional bits. unless there's a way to make it a drop in... I started tinkering with the engine code, and started making changes, but sadly I couldn't figure out how to compile it to test the changes I made. This is just great work... My gut has always told me every single map is redoable in q3. I'd really love to see molten falls. We already have blood covenant, proving it's possible. There was an attempt at sarnath but it was using egyptian textures instead of mayan, and there ws no vegitation anywhere... so a real sarnath would be dope!! I've always wished Sock would remix pyramid of the magician into sarnath since the set he was working with would be perfect for it. pom bots doesn't have rg so while it's amazing it just sucks not having that. but this mod will most likely require any legacy map to be edited for it.
