Sasha seems like a nice girl, she just haven't been used to receiving affection and care since childhood so she finds it as being clingy. After seeing the difference when she went back home she seems to have realised that her mother-in-law actually really loves her for who she is. Hope your relationship will grow more and that you will be able to show affection to everyone as well

Her mother in law is soooooo nice, I don't think she understood before. Here on UA-cam, I've seen plenty of black female UA-camrs with Korean partners who are either not accepted by the in-laws at all or it took the in-laws a long time to accept it. She is lucky that they treat her so well and want to integrate her into their family seamlessly. They only appear to fuss because they care.

At first I thought it was so odd that she is so cold and distant but I understood it after she explained the situation with her mother and grandmother! She has a toxic family unfortunately I‘m really sorry for her…I know many Russian people who have families like this and I think it really shapes their personality based on that…she has a great mother in law and she is super kind and warm! She can be so grateful now that she has a better in law than her own family

The Korean family is really adjusting to Sasha's attitude. I get a second hand embarassment for her when the mom called her instead of knocking on her door just to remind of school. How can she convince her parents-in-law that they can live separately from the parents if she still needed somebody to wake her up for school?

I think people need to understand that these are 2 different cultures, with different customs and ways of acting. She grew up in russia for god's sake, they are very ''personal space, minding my own business''kind of people( not all but most). You can't judge her for just being herself, yes it does look rude, but i think for her that's normal. The good thing tho, is that she is trying her best to fit better with the family, but she is not obligated to change the way she is just because of them.?!

Russians aren't known for being too emotional, cute, or touchy like Koreans, they're nice people but reserved so people shouldn't expect her to assimilate into their culture. She needs time to develop those traits organically not because she's bullied into them.

@@2PMisTimeless Yeah but having a traumatic childhood affects your personality and the way you relate with others. I'm not saying it's an excuse, but acting like it doesn't matter and it's something totally apart when you are growing up and developing your character isn't real. It's like saying " you may have a shitty childhood and your references and the people who should guided you caused traumas and deficiencies but you have to manage yourself to become an normal adult without any problem to relate to others and without any type of emotional lack" . Childhood is essential for the development of the character of a human being. The parternal referents too. Someone with a screwed up childhood ending up being an emotionally stable person without problems to relate with others is the exception, not the rule. Childhood is important and I'm sick and tired of people acting like it's not. A hurting child is a broken adult.

You cant just change 180degrees like that lol. What a joke. Watching this made me annoyed how fake she looked throughout this whole vid… I’m sure many felt the same. Still feel so sorry for her in-laws cause they’re so good to her and yet she’s taking it for granted. And idc what she went through. It does not justify her behavior towards her in-laws or anyone else. And just because you went through something does not mean that others didn’t go through something too. Get over yourself Sasha as it goes both way's, in saying that I do hope you learn to be a better daughter nlaw to them and partner to him,

Her mother in law is only acting this way in this part, most likely because she felt lonely, since Sasha didn't text her at all while she was away. @dd dd yeah I’d rather book the private ones, avoid being a show pony 💀 also foreigners have to remember “no tattoos” idk if it applies in korea but it does in japan
      Edit:
And what ur saying is completely valid! I didn’t see there was more till now lmao. There’s definitely sexualization amongst the ignorance! Foreigners in general really have to be careful where and /how/ they travel. I wish to go to japan but id never go alone. A black woman was minding her business and a japanese man sat next to her and randomly reached to stroke her cheek. She looked at him in confusion and that was enough for him to back off-- its just odd lol. Older women are extremely touchy too you’re right, almost like ur their grandchild and they’re experiencing you for the first time it can be sweet but also uncomfortable really fast.

Typical of her culture to be ungrateful. She will raise her kids same as her. No respect for feelings of others or culture. Me me me. So rare for Russians to be respectful and considerate of others. They mostly live for themselves. I watched it million times . Even my neighbor grandma died alone , her daughter moved to Germany and never came to visit or called her. If they can , they keep living alone , no introduction kids to grandma . I am not shocked at all by Sasha. I feel bad for this family .
