I feel like this is just the recording plastered onto the video because I saw him breathe at one point but there was zero interruption. I could be wrong, but it sounds too much like the recording on his Eb Tuba. Still amazing nevertheless!
@@Thaddeus2007 Yes, I’m certain Pat know how to circular breathe, but what I’m saying is that the breath was there in the video but there was no pause, even if it was very short And it still sounds eerily like the recording on his Eb Tuba, but I’m not saying Pat is bad, it’s just that I think that the audio was added in and not edited Just my thoughts for you
@@araxshiriau9275 do you know what circular breathing is? Or maybe he is using a super weird method? But circular breathing has you cheeks filled with air but your embouchure stays the same. At 0:17 he lottery changed his lips?
He was my honor band conductor and he played this for us. He is *amazing*

Your tubas must be amazing
It’s so interesting hearing a song like this on instruments you wouldn’t expect!

It's in his breathing technique: he breaths in through his nose while blowing out through his mouth. It's exceptionally hard.

BRU HE WAS AT MY SCHOOL TODAY IN BAND HIS TUBA IS BLUE AND HE CALLS IT THE BLUEBA
Wow
Flight of the Tuba Bee.
Impressive !
Would’ve been nice without the duet of the bee sound effect that covered his exceptional playing.
Fantastic!!!
Sorry, but Jupiter sousaphones have caused our bad so much trouble. We really wish we spent the extra on kings.
Impressive for a sousaphone
Anyone else see him breathe right when playing a note?
It’s called “circular breathing” Its a technique used by many professionals while playing fast for long amounts of time.
@@Mr.CheeseCow no but his mouth was off of the mouthpiece
@@RylanYakel it was probably lag in the recording

0:17 -he literally took a breath and the sound was uninterrupted? Am I just confused or is this edited??
Circular breathing

edited for marketing sake it could have been done on a susa but in a stu or on his actual horn
@@araxshiriau9275 It's edited in from his 1997 recording on the "Lollypops" album.
Nice instrument but it's so heavy!
sub #44 how go to how ridiculous and sub for those 3 aussies.
