One of the interesting facts I didn't know about a cast member for the longest time. Katy Segal has younger twin sisters. In fact. They had the first show on television in the 80's where real life twins were the main focus stars. It was titled- Double Trouble. Didn't last more than two seasons however.
Sitcoms were just better back then! Married With Children, Roseanne, Full House, Family Matters, Step By Step, Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, Alf, Dinosaurs, Boy Meets World, Perfect Strangers, ETC... I miss those days! Now it's all reality or game shows on network TV. It SUCKS!!!
I loved the show. I loved Sam Kinison, too, but I can't see him as Al. And Rosanne?--that would have killed the show for sure. That cast made the show magical.

The "TOO FUNNY" part was certainly that, too funny. Even in syndication I still laugh at episodes, and certain scenes to the point of depriving my brain of oxygen from laughing too hard. One in particular is when this lady came in the shoe store, and sat down to breastfeed her child, and Al took offense. Then Marcy came in the store to explain to Al how natural breastfeeding is, and he should allow it in his store, and he retorted with "SO IS PEEING, BUT YOU DON'T SEE ME DOING THAT IN PUBLIC".

I think Christina Applegate playing Kelly as a virgin is why her character ended up being so beloved. If she had hinted at being promiscuous, then it would’ve been easy for the audience to write her off. But she was an actual character.
Of course i thought Christina was crazy hot back then but i didn't realize that Katey was pretty dang good looking herself until i grew up and saw a rerun or two.
