This piece is amazing! I’m wondering about the layering technique. You use many coatings of rub on color, then paint, then rub on again, then the tarnishing paint, etc. I’m wondering if the very early applications are necessary to the final piece or are we watching you decide on changes to cover earlier applications that you didn’t like as much? Are you following a pattern of something you’ve already made or making it up as you go along? Your eye for color and texture are magical!
This is an exquisite piece of jewelry! I'm impressed with your talent for working with clay, and certainly with your artistic expression.
in America, US, we would call this an Aztec inspired design. Based on a culture that was unfortunately destroyed over time, a noble and amazing culture, approximately decimated, over the 15 and 1600s. An amazing culture.
This piece also looks like it has Celtic inspiration
There's Morrocan influence in Celtic designs, and this definitely gave me Morrocan vibes!

This is an amazing piece of artwork💜 I really enjoyed all the steps you took. So much work went into this❗️I was bothered about the top of the art. I kept seeing that seam of the first embellishment next to the center piece! You picked the perfect little gem right smack at the place where the seam was bothering me! It's all about the layering, both with colour and patina as well as clay layers. Wonderful techniques. Do you prebake the little jewel cab that goes on top of the bail or is that raw clay around it? Do you make the magnet ends of your cord?

@@SweetyBijouProthe borders around the stone (or whatever the piece is made from). There is a definitive line where you tried to connect the ends.
@@AdrienneS1970 she covered that with the layering piece she added to attach them together. So in the end you don’t see that line any longer. The end product is flawless! I love it! 💝🥰🤗
