@@autochatter the cloud car series will continue with the Cirrus. It was supposed to had been released the same day as the Breeze but the file on the flash drive was lost, so it had to be re-produced, hence the delay.
convertible Murano is an AMAZING vehicle. Like I would unironically drive one top down all the time with my big bald head sticking out. I LOVE HOW RIDICULOUS THEY ARE GIVE ME A CONVERTIBLE MURANO
They are different thats for sure! Id be worried about replacement parts for that top.Im sure after over 10 years, I wouldnt doubt if Nissan discontinued some parts for it by now.
Had 2 Nissans with fairly bulletproof engines. 85 Maxima with a VG30, same as my father's 93 and 97 Villager and a VQ35 in a 2011 Quest, but other than the convertible, I actually think the Murano looked better than the 11-17 Quest
My wife had a 07 Quest. She loved that thing and we had it untill it had about 170k miles. No major repairs were ever needed. The timing chain guides were starting to go towards the end, giving it the Supercharger noise LOL.
@autochatter you had the one that didn't look like an oblong shaped spaceship. After the 96-99 Taurus/Sable debacle with the "spaceship" look, you'd think they would have learned people didn't like that look lol
LOL..I had a Trailbike that was made in the 70s when I was a kid that had a belt cvt trans. They called it a centrifugal clutch drive. Nissan and Audi were just the first two crazy enough to put them in higher hp vehicles then.
Magnificent chatter. Didn’t realize the current Murano has been on sale this long.
Thanks. Yeah Nissan has a history of keeping the same bodystyle forever. What vid you doing next?

Im sure thats frustrating as editing is time consuming. Looking forward to seeing it!@MotorMaster_Stunticon
Great video. Always liked the Murano since it debuted. Hopefully a refresh is coming next year with the 9-speed transmission and keeping the V6.
Thank you! Yeah I'm hoping the next one gets a ZF transmission too!
I drive a Nissan Kicks. Great fun to drive and fantastic gas mileage. My brother drives a Nissan Rogue.
@@Jfleshman1209 There's a Rouge Sport in my driveway.
Great episode! I think the convertible Murano is beyond ugly.
Thanks! I think that's a popular opinion as far as how they look! I see them semi regularly still around here. Your up to 19.7k subs? Awesome!
I'm not sure who told you that you pronounce Opel incorrectly, never heard of Opeel.
LOL..Someone from across the pond. But Ed from Ed's Auto Reviews says it like I have been too

@jasonsobol32 LOL..Yeah. Nissan was trying to unminivan it. That gen did do better than the last ones though.
I believe you sold/sell Nissans, so I'll just say nice video. 😁
Did at one time..Work at a Lexus Dealer now....(not in sales). One of those new GX models just arrived today
@@autochatter Nice upgrade! And those new GXs took a long time to get to market, but they definitely rewarded people for being patient.
@doug6191 Its sharp! It's similar to the new 4Runner coming and Land Cruiser...But has a twin turbo v6 they lack.
@autochatter The TX looks like a great choice, too. The RX should go back to being a 2-row crossover.
@@doug6191 it is now. The TX replaced the RX-L.
The Nissan Murano is definitely the Japanese Pontiac Aztek
The Cross Cabriolet ? I'd say so LOL.
The Honda Element is the Japanese Aztek. It even had the unpainted plastic.
5:14 - Nice pull. Many people think Nissan introduced CVTs. Nope...Nissan just developed the CVT's bad reputation.
