@@SGT this is another "Kokland" situation, "libson" is actually called Lisbon

Achieving the Reconquista is easy if you make puppets in the nations you conquer, for example, if you conquer the federal republic of central america (5 infamy) you can release el salvador, nicaragua, etc so by conquering a country you just reduced infamy, it doesn't matter to make all those puppets bcause when you form the viceroyalties all of them unite in one puppet. Also I think it's easier if you just don`t do the 'Pragmática Sanción' in the early game, thus not allowing isabella to the throne and going full carlist and avoiding all the revolutions and events that, btw, are all historically pretty accurate, Spain in the 1800' was a mess, we had like 40 coup d'etat and "revolutions" in one century
I think you could not do the viceroyalties bcause you went for the isabella path but I'm not sure

By, the way, that island that appeared in the Mediterranean and then disappeared again was a real thing. Known as Graham Island,or Isola Ferdinandea, or Ile Julia, depending on whom you asked, was a tiny island that rose above the water off the coast of Sicily, with a whole bunch of countries trying to lay claim on it (hence all the different names), and then it sank back down in the water less than a year later. There’s also a story of it being destroyed underwater with depth charges meant for Libyan submarines, but that story seems to just be an urban myth.

The reason you didn’t get the event to core Latin America might have been because you ended the Spanish Inquisition? I’m not sure but that’s my best guess. I can try it out in GFM if that’s the case!

I conquered Mexico from the start (with Portugal and Two Sicilies in allies). It give a lot manpower at start, and also more territories without the need in war with US.

I'm glad you showed the real game, since you didn't pull off a flawless total conquest at the start. Some Vic2 channels are a bit too perfect and never seem to accumulate much infamy, bit sus

Hey man, I was trying to play this scenario but for some reason I can't find the event to do the reconquista in 1830. I downloaded the mod out of Mod Db, did you do anything special? Any help would be great
0:02 They weren't colonies. This lands were overseas lands with the same status as european lands. It's like saying England was a colony under the Roman Empire.

@@SGT I disagree. I's not about if they were more or less integrated, but rather that there were no administrative differences between american spanish soil and european spanish soil
Sometimes taking on debt is worth it and continuing to fund your army will feed your industry and keep your pops employed

As a Spaniard I appreciate your efforts reconquering the empire. But you should have taken the Carlist because reconquering the colonies and not removing the lands of the church is what they were thinking to do. Isabel has the support of the liberals and the Carlist had the support of the conservatives.

I've done this before and you made a few major mistakes that I could see. Starting off you need to take over Gran Columbia and Central American Republic before they collapse. It will save like 30 infamy and then you can chill for a few years. It is a little difficult but it's absolutely possible. Then you got to ally the USA and take Mexico before 1846 so they don't take the top part of Mexico from you. Like I said, it's extremely difficult but I was able to do it so it's absolutely possible. Second mistake was that you didn't end the reqonquista I think, so you never got the option to move your capital. If you never move your capital to the new world, you will not get the accepted pops

Every time im in the mood to start this game i always come to the same conclusion. Cant do shit because of infamy. And the only way around it is savescumming. Really bad flaw ruining a good game...
It can be tedious at times, but it does keep you from conquering the entire world in like 10 years. Perhaps Hoi4 would be more fun for you!
