If you haven't seen the movie DON'T WATCH THE TRAILER, I just watched the movie without knowing anything about it beforehand and it was great, I can't believe how much this trailer spoiled the feeling of the movie
I agree, i stumbled upon this film by pure luck. As a big fan of shaun of the dead & hot fuzz , i shit my pants when i saw that it was from the creators of both films and that it starred simon pegg & nick frost. I only saw that it was about 5 buddys who want to complete the golden mile and i just put it on and i was blown away. Im so happy that i never heard about the production nor seen the trailer just like i had with hot fuzz and i had so much fun watching this movie it made 2015 already a great year for me. I hope that someday there will be another movie that includes these 2 heroes!
The movie is actually so deep...I even shed a tear when Gary and Andy are in The World's End and all of Gary's inner trauma surfaces. Also when Peter (Eddie Marsan) tells the gang of his bullying, that got me aswell.
I watched this film for the first time tonight. I can honestly say it's one of the best films I've seen in a long time and quite posdibly now one of my favourite films of all time. I really enjoyed it. I think it was the best in the trilogy.
DementedCaver Hot Fuzz is my 2nd favourite. As for Shaun of the Dead, I have seen it though not particularly a fan of it as I'm not fond of zombie films.
Omg same like when they were in the washroom holy fuck and he beat up those kids but i should've known the plot twist of the trilogy always gets me like damn.
This was my absolute favorite of 2013 (and I've seen over 30 films from last year, including most of the big award winners). Simon Pegg and Nick Frost give their best performances yet, and the supporting cast are no slouches either; the story is interesting, the comedy is spot-on, the drama is heavier than Hot Fuzz but is more balanced than in Shaun of the Dead, and the effects and choreography are top-notch (particularly given the fairly small budget). The ending can be a surprise to some but gets better with rewatches, which the movie lends itself to nicely. Easily recommend to anyone.
Well at least your buddies drank. I got on a reunion and it was, "I'll have a coke", "a light for me please", "Me too", "I'd like a Bitter lemon". I knew I was not going to have an adventurous night like this at the very first round. You can probably guess we did not run into any bad behaviour correcting aliens that night...
The trick with pub crawls is if you feel like the drink is starting to hit you a bit, just order a glass of water with whatever you’re drinking and drink both at the same time.
This teaser is better than the one I saw in America. I'm loving this movie more and more every time I watch it. I feel greedy asking for more...but can't there please be just one more story in the Cornetto series?
This Movie is Definitely My Favourite Movie out of the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy. I believe Simon Pegg as Gary King might be my favourite performance by the actor
This movie is incredible, along with Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and even Paul. These guys just know how to be funny and work extremely well together.
I just enjoy this movie, their friendship, and the soundtrack absolutely :D simon pegg n nick frost is my fav actor doesnt care about hollywood actor hahaha btw young sam and old sam is cute girl, i like them both :D
Saw it today, one of THE greatest films ever. Rather dark with so much humour, great deep characters with one of the best concepts of a film I've seen. Please everybody go see it and make this film a success!
I'm definitely glad that I've only just watched the trailer. This is horrible. Just generic hollywood trailer that has nothing to do with the film also trailer voice guy.
Haha I would honestly say TWE was the best. It just touched an emotional, nostalgic part of me. And the first half of the film was so relatable to me and my friends; it was just incredible and so funny.
Haven't laughed while watching a trailer in a long while! Watched Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz when I was growing up and Edgar Wright's classics that involve Simon Pegg and Nick Frost will always give me a good laugh XD
I love the way Pegg and wright really fuck with genres and mash them up. And Pegg is just so damn funny in everything he's just got that natural comic timing and facial expressions.
Hi - No, it is a pub in Letchworth which they renamed for the making of the film, the actual pub is called The Wilbury. They used other sites in the town and recreated pubs from some of them and used a couple of actual pubs which they gave film names to. The Colonade became the Two Headed Dog or something like that.
What is it that makes people look in awe at these films? The addition of colour and sound brings it to life I suppose. The clarity of the film at the beginning makes it look like a modern film set. Sadly even though I’m British and wasn’t alive in the 1940’s I like the majority of people long to be back in times like this, the reason I think is it reminds us of our youth and the fact we had our lives all ahead of us. I was born in the early 1960’s and was a kid in the UK in the 1970’s and did all my drinking , travelling and going out with girls in the 1980’s a great time to be alive. If you watch the Simon Pegg movie called” The worlds end. “ it sums up what life is about…then again unfortunately I think it’s true for 95% of people, life doesn’t get any better than when you were 18 to 38 say.. your dreams and aspirations sadly don’t come true for the vast majority of us.. that’s life I suppose.
I definitely felt that it had the strongest acting, and yeah, I can understand having that reaction to it. I really love how i tied all these themes and ideas from the first two films together, that was really great.
The main issue I had with The World's End was its severe lack of humour. Got nothing on Hot Fuzz or Shaun Of The Dead, but still decent as an apocalyptic sci-fi, though.
SJMJ91 Really? I thought it was hilarious, but like all Cornetto trilogy movies, the last 30 minutes get more serious and less funny. Shaun of the Dead probably surprised me the most, the first 110 minutes were so funny and comical, then the climax in the Winchester was so intense I forgot I was watching a comedy at times.
+SJMJ91 can't agree with that, maybe in terms of dialogue and characters, but the way the camera and narrative was handled... you can really tell Edgar Wright learned a thing or two after Hot Fuzz.
Here are these songs, I have found that are in the trailer, please thumbs this up, so other people can see this, so there don't have to waste there time. 1. Soup dragons - i'm free 2. Primal Scream - Loaded 3. Lil Jon feat. LMFAO - Drink 4. Nero - doomsday Your welcome :)
I wanna go to a pub in England. You know like a neighborhood pub or a small town pub. Don't like those tourist places where they even charge you for the air you breathe. My question is will I be treated fairly? I have brown skin and there is a lot of anti immigrant movement in Europe. Don't feel like getting stabbed when I visit.
You'll be fine. Speaking as a brown person, I'm in a pub every now and then, never got troubled once. Make sure you go to a Wetherspoon pub, very cheap!
Wetherspoons are all the same, no matter where in the country you are. Also the Wetherspoons here in London are no longer cheap. £3.20 a pint in the one up the road from me. But yeah as for the race thing, Its not really an issue. I don't think it is anyway, I've never witnessed any racism in the pubs I go into. My local has a rep for being a bit rough, but a few of the regulars in there are black. Although when someone walks in that nobody recognises the pub goes quiet, jukebox stops, darts hover mid air lol they must be old bill.
For me, there is no "best of the trilogy", as they all have their purpose and all work to create the whole. I adored this film, just like I adored Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead before it.
Does this come out on the same day in the US as it does in the UK? Cause I know certain movies and video games release date are different depending on it being in the UK or US.

I have to say that their 3 movies: Shaun of the dead, Hot fuzz and this one are the 3 best comedies of the last 15 years... Hot fuzz being my favorite... It is undeniable..No comedy ever came even close and i have watched plenty.. The script is smart and amazingly well written, actors are superb, jokes are witty and perfectly timed.. i really cannot find a flaw..

Thanks man, I was just gonna watch the trailer before the movie but now I'm not, have a good day sir
Awh I wish I had scrolled down a bit....
What a weird thing that is every now and then
Thanks
thanks bro......u saved me
This film is so much better if watch it without having seen the trailer. It gives too much away!
I agree, i stumbled upon this film by pure luck.

I probably drank more than twelve pints before I saw this without having seen the trailer. It was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.
I think this is the case with the entire trilogy... don't you?
No arguments here.
theTF2sniper I agree; that being said it's a great trailer
The movie is actually so deep...I even shed a tear when Gary and Andy are in The World's End and all of Gary's inner trauma surfaces. Also when Peter (Eddie Marsan) tells the gang of his bullying, that got me aswell.

DementedCaver Hot Fuzz is my 2nd favourite. As for Shaun of the Dead, I have seen it though not particularly a fan of it as I'm not fond of zombie films.
Cast: Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Rosamund Pike, Sam Legend, Lynn C.Reilly
Edgar Wright
Action and Adventure, Comedy
Best to worst, I'd say:
Shaun of the Dead
The World's End
Hot Fuzz
But they're all brilliant.
@Leon Čarapović The Cornetto Trilogy (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End).
I watched this movie without knowing anything about it other than it was another Frost/Pegg movie. The robot reveal totally came out of left field!
Omg same like when they were in the washroom holy fuck and he beat up those kids but i should've known the plot twist of the trilogy always gets me like damn.
Yeah! Same here! :D I was like WTF. I didn't expect that although I am a big fan of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Should've seen it coming though :D

I tried to recreate this film with four buddys, but we could only make it to pub no. 6....oh well, we'll try again 20 years later i guess
Any money 2 of your friends won’t make it
Well at least your buddies drank. I got on a reunion and it was, "I'll have a coke", "a light for me please", "Me too", "I'd like a Bitter lemon". One of the funniest jokes in the movie

The message behind this film is so clever, in a nutshell it's saying technology has changed people and is true! great film!!
The message behind "Shaun of the Dead" it was saying how the routine kills you.
Um, that's not the message I got from the movie
Gerbil Xing Productions what was the message you got?
That it's okay to be a loser, as long as you have the choice and freedom to be one or something along those lines
If that’s the message you saw a much different movie then we did
I fucking love British comedies!!!

Saw it yesterday - it is AMAZING. A worthy conclusion to the Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy.
Better than Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead
disagreed, while not bad, it's still the weakest of the 3
hot fuzz rocks bro
Hot Fuzz is better but this movie is still good
thanks so much! i have been looking for about 3 months. :D

A great end to the trilogy, loved the cornetto part :]
ive watched this movie 4 times in french and in english in 3 weeks and i'm so fan of it.

Shaun of the dead easily beats both, hot fuzz and the world's end are on the same level
