I just realised why watching this video is so nostalgic. When youtube still had initial d videos (all episodes of the series) I instinctively put on subtitles when watching them, so I thank you, I really miss those days.

I was going to say, the amount of grip from the tires and torque that needs to be laid down must be fairly substantial for this to work, not to mention the compression settings on the struts. Would be cool to see IRL, though.

I'd like to see an incorrect application of the uncovered gutter run method in Assetto (ala not accelerating or even braking so your front wheel falls into the gutter), would it be as disastrous it was shown in the anime?
As someone who got stuck multiple times in these goddamn gutters... I have gigantic doubts aboot these methods... (Not racing, heavy overlanding minivan, got out with farmjack and aluminum loading ramps)

Can you do more videos like this? I always found the strategies from Initial D interesting, even if a lot of them are fantasy.
I learned how to do this in assetto corsa and it is incredibly fun in an 86
I'm always training this technique at the Tsubaki LINE gutters. It's difficult but it can really reduce the collection time a lot.
