At 1:37 the way you do the chords »» D+A+G don´t sound like the original i don´t know where is the need of doing chords that sound differently.
@@netnavigator149 For me they sounds right. Quite often those are the forms they use live versions too...or at least either of the guitarists are playing those forms. Roland uses these forms on early live versions.
But in the end you can always choose the best chord forms that fits to you. 😃👍
@@JuhaAitakangas It sounds right to you because you did not compared with the original. Play the chords that you applied listening the official version than you´ll agree with me.
@@JuhaAitakangas The chords that you done in the video at 1:08 and 1:37 are very used to play hard rock and they are higher chords than common power chords how come you still don't know this playing like that? I'm surprised.
@@netnavigator149 Hi, i just listened the original isolated guitar track again. You are partly right. The D chord is played without that high A note 2nd string fret 10. G and A chords played right. Maybe you could leave the highest note away from A chord too...what you say about that?
I had the pleasure to play this Song Live with Tears for Fears (and Robbie William's) Guitarist Neil Taylor. And i can assure you that he is playing it totally different! Great work BTW!
Oh, that's great man 😃👍 I watched few youtube videos where Neil shows how he plays the solo...and yes he's doing few things differently than i but he also plays the solo slightly different way than the original recording...
Just found the version where he plays the solo just like on the record. He uses different positons on neck than me, but the notes are same than mine. And also few open string things were played diffrent than i assume it was played. Nice to see him playing the solo. His vibrato is brutal 😄👍

There's also a video where Roland Orzabal is playing the solo and the fret choices appear very similar to what is going on here.

MY FAVORITE GUITAR BRIDGE EVER. Thanks so much for sharing. It almost looked you weren't really playing. I don't now guitar but It the only "Rock" song where I fell in love with the guitar (I'm a bass person)- such a soothing melody. I always thought it was a difficult play - and I thought -BUT WHAT DO I KNOW - because the melody seems so simple. But looking at you shows me it is NOT an easy play.
