In order for a luxury hotel to be competitive in modern times, the rooms need to be larger (minimum 450 sq ft) and bathrooms need to have spa like amenities including double sinks, a freestanding soaker tub (perhaps with a view of the city) and separate toilet and shower cubicles. This is what you will find at the newer Four Seasons hotels around the world. However, the building in Vancouver is old and cannot be renovated to meet the demands of discerning luxury hotel guests. The property has long been the black sheep of the Four Seasons hotel chain. Maybe demolishing it and building a new tower would make it finally possible for Vancouver to have a newer and more modern Four Seasons (or other luxury hotel brand)?
And in my own personal opinion,And our interesting,our modern and our up --- scale Four Seasons Hotel and Nordstrom Department Store architectural building structures located in our Downtown Vancouver,British Columbia both do not deserve to be demolish at this present age and time and in the future/futures to come.And all they need are extensive renovations,extensive developments and extensive construction projects and finally,And they will look like brand --- new architectural building structures all over again.And our all --- appointed,our all --- chosen and our all --- called Canadian/Royal Canadian federal,provincial and municipal highest --- ranking government officials should never,never and never allow our Canadian/Royal Canadian development,building and construction developers to submit to unnecessary demolition projects in our interesting,bustling and scenic Metro Vancouver,British Columbia.
Please do not tear down a functioning building. Use this building to create homes for the unhoused. Please find compassion and forget the dollars. How can destroying a perfectly good possible residence right in the heart of homelessness NOT BE A GOOD IDEA??? Tearing down this perfectly good building should be against the law. Do not give the owners permission to do this. How can the owners of this building not realize the plight of the needy? Let's find compassion and kindness and love and forget the almighty dollar. Money cannot buy happiness. Especially if you are filthy rich. Too sad. My thoughts! I forgive you because you know not what you do.

Please consider the dying population of Vancouver, which will continue to spread out to Kits, UBC. and other "safe" neighbourhoods unless those who can give....do give and soon.
