- Video demonstrating how to remove the grill assembly on a 2020 and newer Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500 truck. This grill was removed for a color match which was not done from the factory.

Good video. I just took off a 2021 and you have to also remove one of fender liner screws that aligns with bottom of side panels as it screws into the side panel.

The real secret to removing the filler panel, after removing the fender trim and 7 mm bolt. Is to pull out and away from the body at the fender seam before pulling forward.

That's what you remove it and put a steel bumper and paramount grill in it's place.

Got my first 2020 in the shop, same thing as huntinglifecd, you saved me a lot of trouble. I still cringe every time I yank a grille though, Ford too. Clips break, it is what they do. Only lost one on each side.
So much pull/push tabs. Gonna give you hell when the truck gets old and plastic breaks on you. Thanks for the vid. I painting the center bar black on my truck.
Thankfully this truck is new. No brittle tabs.

I have a 2021 Silverado 2500. Do you know if it is hard to get in to change the headlight bulb?
no it takes 5-10 minutes. pop out your fender flare about a 1/4 of the way, removed 7 or 8 of the inner fender liner screws and when you pull back you will see the headlight dust caps. real easy. i have a 2021 also and just changed my bulbs. theres also a video of it showing what i just explained
Informative....I want to change the color of my z71 badge. Did you notice how it would come off the grill. It looks like there is tabs back there but not sure how I would take off without breaking if I didn't take the grill completely off. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Would you know if you can remove the letters "chevrolet" and put the bowtie?
The word "Chevrolet" is cut out of the plastic grill. You can't remove it.
