This is one of the best pieces of content ever posted on the Spitfire Audio channel. (Christian & Paul, if you're reading this, more more more more please! You've put together such an amazing team.)
Excellent video! One of the things I really like about Spitfire is their excitement and diverse talent when it comes to making music for moving pictures. I picked up all three bundles for Memorial Day! =)
I love the way Oliver used the flutes in his piece! The playfullness you don't see much of these days, it's great! I'm also happy to see Spitfire add more female composers to their roster!
I am a part of the spitfire family ever since I purchased the Olafur Collection. Now, after BBCSO, some exclusives and the EDNA earth I am about to buy, I will have a lot of wonderful things to experiment with. I love your work
Guys really great video and great music. I have a somehow more operational question for Lucie that I see she is using that Blackmagic Multidoc, are you using it for storing instruments and audio amples librariew? I would like to buy one to store and load from there my huge spitfire library.
Enjoyed this a lot! Loved the tag team format and bouncing off each other and the varied approaches, personalities and pieces that were discussed. Good way of blooding the new members of the team too! The music was all stunning, as were the visuals on the trailers. Good job guys and looking forward to more of that good stuff. Молодцы!
Amazing video, very inspired. I jumped on the spitfire bandwagon for the Spring Sale, and got the BBC pro and Albion. I'd love to go the extra mile with more libs, specially these taylored ones! but I think I'll dabble a while on this and see how it goes. Thank you Spitfire!
Welcome Lucie! Folklorica sounds interesting. The school I teach at has a folk-program, raising some of the best folk-music-players. If you ever visit Sweden, send me a msg and I’ll hook you up with the best of the best :)
I really enjoyed the content and format of this presentation. Definitely a lot of learning here and a really good environment to meet the team and showcase the libraries. I hope those astronauts were ok 👏👏👏👏🙏🙏🏿👍🎩
Oo, Oliver, that augmented octave false-relation in the piano at 27:55 - very bold! It got obscured in the orchestration, though. Deeply evocative piece, just the same.
My favourite trailer track was that created for Zeitgeist. I thought the use of the strings/ brass ? were perfectly written ..very sympathetic to the context of the video content .👏👏🙏🙏🏿🎩👍
Homay is more an artist maybe, with her brilliant composing skills, she on-demand now. She maybe working on bigger projects or ads that Spitfire is working on like Abbey Road Foundations. She's very busy I'm guessing 🤷🏾♂️
I definitely think Homay is a great composer but we should not be dissing or discrediting Lucien work. She is a great composer snd I am happy that in a male dominated career that spitfire is diversifying there composers.
I've found a great resource for media composers. For those who would like to practice their composition skills to free, ready made productions, there's a company called 'The Cue Tube'. Check it out. You can get access to free videos to score to, and upload them to UA-cam. You're welcome. Got a job mate?

Could toh please demonstrate a key change within an arrangement? How do you do it? How do you know what key to land on, etc.
This was so interesting from such a talented bunch. What we need now is for them to sample Lucie's incredible voice.
Absolutely fantastic music!!!!
This is great. Everything about it.
this spring sale just robbed me of my life savings. and by robbed, i mean i have no self control, take my moneys

Awesome stuff. Where can I find little clips of film to score to.
Maybe just "rescore" ? Easier to find stuff and more potential interest from people.
One word to describe it all: Brilliant! :)

Let's go!!!!
All excellent pieces. It's always great to see the thought process behind how different people approach composition.
Was that Christian in the tree suit? :)
where's Homay?
Bring back homay!
Your jacket is awesome
Great hair Dan
I love hearing the composition ideas.
Great!, I really enjoyed it:)

She should have used the creed score as inspiration or even the Cinderella Man score. But she did a good job still.
