Wow, super helpful! My keyboard keeps dropping bluetooth so I wanted to go back to using the dongle but wouldn't recognize it. This little fixed worked like a charm. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much. This video explains clearly what I wanted to know. I was so embarrassing when I connected two bluetooth devices because the usb receiver was not working anymore. Evenmore, I couldn't find any explanation on Logitech website. I cannot understand why Logitech didn't make three connections with K580, USB and two bluetooth. But still K580 is very good keyboard which has number key pad and compact.
Thanks for letting me know. I'm always happy to know my video is useful to so many of you. Yes it's weird that K580 is the only multi device keyboard with only 2 devices.
Thank you so much for sharing this knowledge.! I was breaking my head to fix it. Fortunately, I found your video. Can't believe Logitech is made such a non user friendly device.
I am so happy that I found this. It works and I don't even have the same keyboard, all the other things said to just turn it off and back on and it was really pissing me off
@@SkyPerspective is this software available on Linux/Ubuntu? I am unable to find. I have same problem now but I want to fix it on Linux but can't do it. Any help?
@@VishalZanzrukia I doubt so, but there is a way. What I suggest is find a Windows computer to install that software and reconnect the USB receiver and the keyboard as I showed in the vidoe. After that unplug the USB receiver and plug it back to your Linux/Ubuntu and that should just work because the receiver is reconnected back to the keyboard already. Hope this helps.
@@SkyPerspective I already tried this with no luck, I have already Windows machine . So basically I am currently connected with USB receiver with Windows machine and with Ubuntu with Bluetooth but I actually need it reversed
This is the older version of the Logitech receiver, so it's a bit clunky. The newer version is much better than this. Does anyone like me to make a video on the new one?
I was searching how to reset logitech unifier, but this video helped.
