Check this out - I remember googling and finding an article about a dinosaur bone (possibly a vertebrae fragment) that was found, palaeontologists belied it to be from a tyrannosaur, the problem was they couldn't match it with any known tyrannosaurs species, an adult T rex is known to grow up to around 40ft in body length, the equivalent bone from this creature was much larger in comparison and they estimated it to be around 90ft from nose to tail. True or not it makes me wonder what lies buried in the Earth that is yet to be found.
I totally agree with you. I have watched tons of monster movies over the years, going back to the really old monster flicks of the 50's and the Trex roar from the Jurrasic movies and the one in this video is still the most bone chilling roar I have ever heard.

Godzilla's sound design is insane. I didn't realise until this video that it also helps show Godzilla's size just by the delay between seeing them roar and then hearing the roar. It's sort of like thunder and lightning, you can see the lightning and tell how many miles away it is by how many seconds it is before you hear the thunder but even without the conversion rate knowledge it's still pretty instinctual that more lag equals further away. Then with Godzilla the lag should make your brain go oh they must be so far away, then put together that they still take up most of the view therefore they must be gigantic
The Meg 2 actually used the original T-Rex from Jurassic Park that got eaten by the Megalodon in the trailer, so hopefully they’ll get the Mosasaur as an end credit scene for an epic battle in the next movie project
